Come here in the morning and proceed to Grindewald First and...

Come here in the morning and proceed to Grindewald First and take bus 103 to Iseltwald jump into the boat in lake Brienz and finished the cruise at Interlaken Ost. Finihed all this in one day. Imagine we were 63,66 and 71 year old. Planning is must.

Outstanding experience.

Outstanding experience. You may use funicular which is close to main train station or by hiking. A nice restaurant at top. Beatiful view of the Interlaken area with incredible scenery of Brienz and Interlaken lakes. Stay in Interlaken West with many restauranta and shopping facilities Watch, chocolate and swiss knives Punctual trains. Easy reachable other sightseeings

Wonderful place to see the area and get the lay of the land!

Wonderful place to see the area and get the lay of the land! This was our first excursion in Interlaken, and I got my friends absolutely pumped as we looked at areas in the distance we would explore in the coming days. You can take a quick trip up and just enjoy the sights and restaurant, or you can explore the trails that go all along the area. There is a specific hike that is not for the faint of heart, but definitely qualifies for core memory status, and that is the Hardergrat. If you have time to plan, I’d actually start from Brienzer-Rothorn and work your way back to end at Harder Kulm, thus named Brienzergrat. It’s much easier on the knees! You essentially hike the length of Lake Brienz along the unequivocally voted Most Iconic Ridge Hike of Europe! Cheers ❤️

If you want one of the EASIEST places to visit from...

If you want one of the EASIEST places to visit from Interlaken, this is the place. It has AMAZING VIEWS of 2 different lakes and 3 small villages with mountains all around. I was in AWE and I have been to Junfraujoch, Titlis, Rigi and Gornergrat. Really loved how easy it was to just take funicular right from town. It's right behind the Beau Rivage Hotel. That hotel was also kind enough to hold our luggage while we went up the mountain....unbelievable service...with no charge (we just tipped). I went there TWICE during an overnight stay....just could not get over the views.

Fantastic stay and unbeatable location! Despite our mistake of booking a single room for two, the staff accommodated us right away. Even when a quick leak occurred from the room above, the team handled it with impressive efficiency. The room itself was lovely, and the location is perfect just a one-minute walk from the train station, close to two Coop stores, and within walking distance of Harder Kulm. Switzerland was a dream, and this hotel made it perfect. We will definitely be back!

Great location! Short walk to Train depot, Ferry boat, Harder Kulm, and free buses to downtown. Elegant historic older property, with appropriate updates. Beautiful riverside patio. Well appointed rooms with little balcony off of the bathroom. Comfortable beds. Helpful staff. Gracious hotel courtesy shuttle. Lovely breakfast buffet with broad selection of items.

Hostel has a very good location, it is close to the lakes and harder kulm. Breakfast it was very yummy, a lot of options. Loved! Rooms are clean and nice, and my view it was super pretty. They have storage to keep the luggage before the check in time and they provide city pass for free buses. There is a pool table and nice common area

I love how hands-on the owner is! He personally takes care of your needs and is very honest about which services actually require payment. One thing’s for sure — you’ll get the real price with no unnecessary markups. The place is also incredibly clean, well-organized, and obviously well cared for. The location is another huge plus — very close to the train station, the port for cruises, the Harder Kulm station, and many other attractions. A few minutes of walking while sightseeing, and you’re already there!

Superb location! Right by hohematte park, Walking distance to interlaken ost and harder kulm funicular. They have a spacious kitchen thats open to all guest. I like that they offer self service laundry. I loved the view from my room. Also the receptionist allowed me to check in early.
