Hotels near Laguna del Inca Lake, Portillo

A must stop place if you want to hike around the Aconcagua. Juan Pablo and Magalí are superb hosts, and will do their best to make you feel comfortable and welcome. They know the region inside out and have great tips on tours, treks and hikes for both beginners and experienced mountaineers. The accommodation is rustic but very cozy, and blends into the mountain atmosphere really well. The showers have nice pressure and very hot water, and the music playing in the eating area is always excellent. The evening meals are hearty and filling after a long day of hiking. Shoutout to Lolita, the friendly house cat!

This was really a charming experience, a chance to feel a part of history by staying in this former station on the now defunct transAndean railroad. The room was small but comfortable and warm. The meals were very good and plentiful and served in a lovely area showing history of the railroad. The Host Sebastien was very welcoming and helpful. All this made for a very memorable stay.

Diego was very attentive to all our needs. This cabin is a great location. Only 45 minutes to Ski Portillo. Great restaurants in Rio Blanco too.
