breakfast choices are good. Grounds are pretty. Rooms are comfortable and large. Staff are very nice and helpful

Everything. It is very well managed with beautiful nature all around the place, for me it was a piece of heaven on earth.

Alex was very helpful with trying to figure out my shuttle and helped make phone calls. He was very friendly and had a delightful breakfast for me ready for my early departure. The restaurant downstairs is awesome too.

Everything. The landscape is breathtaking, the rooms are beautiful, and the people are all very nice. Our tour guides for horseback riding, ziplining, and birdwatching were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Dinner at Laggus was a night to remember. We will be back!

Staff was exceptional kind and professional. The view from the hotel was beautiful. Location to restaurants and local market was key.

Wonderful Room 20: nicely designed and decorated, very clean, large, quite comfortable beds, with a great balcony and view of the hillside. Attentive, professional staff. Breakfast was great, including the tuna omelet. Our one diner was also nice, though a bit quiet. Bar at the top had a wonderful view down to the sea. Quite steep road down/back up, but walkable to dining options to avoid driving, including into town. Bonus: staff recommended Reserva Santa Elena and made us reservations for a guided tour – cost effective and awesome!

It is very secured property, a code was needed to get in and out the property. Our room is spacious, nice, clean and equiped with all we need, such as a single sofa, heater, towels, etc. The furniture is pretty new, we love the night stands which are like at home. The brakfast is good, better than what I expected. The check-in staff is nice and provided a lot information to us.

Loved the views and the meals

The hotel is very nice on a large property with scenic spectecular views. Our room was clean, very quite and well equiped. Buffet style breakfast was good with enough options to choose from. Hotel staff was very freindly and accommodating. They gave us recommendations for attractions to visit and helped to book one.

Juan Carlos and Martha were super welcoming and friendly and worked hard to make my stay as good as possible. The breakfast was great, traditional Costa Rican food.

This place is a real hidden jewel♥️‼️♥️‼️. Totally everything from the staff (esp Jane) to the farm to table goid to the sunsets to the walking path to the evening fire pit … just the entire ambiance of “soft aire” and off grid time was over the top for our family. We could have (and wished) stayed for many days longer. It was restful yet energizing, peaceful yet generative. Are you getting the picture???

The location is an easy walk into town one direction and the other to the best spot to watch the sunsets. Aaron impressed us so much. He’s a very kind, intelligent, and helpful. He made are stay even better. Breakfast is also excellent The walk from the town is a bit of a hill but it’s not bad

Miztli Lodge is very conveniently located just a few minutes walk from downtown St Elena. (Not being in downtown is an advantage). It was very quiet at night, good for sleeping. The owners / staff were super nice. Breakfast each morning was great. Great job on our laundry ($12). This is a perfect location for visiting the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, doing a forest night walk, and going to Selvetura Park for a walk on the suspension bridges in the forest canopy. Our guide from Monteverdewild.com for the cloud forest and the night walk, and the bus for Selvatura, picked us up at the lodge. (Highly recommend these tours). Super easy. We actually only used the car a couple of times in the three days we were there. Everything else was walking distance. Very good restaurants right around the corner. Had a great stay. Highly recommended.

We did the ficus and farm visit excursions and absolutely loved both of them, as did our 10 year old son. The location, room size and staff were all excellent too.

Beautiful and luxury property, breakfast was amazing and staff and service was exceptional. The views and sunset are worth staying for. Plan for weather and wind as you are in nature.

The room and lodge grounds were amazing. The rooms were rustic and comfortable while the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very enjoyable and there was lots to see and do in the vicinity of the lodge.

Beautiful room and grounds. Close to Monte Verde and Santa Elena. Large hot tub, pool and bar where you can meet other guests. Delicious breakfast included.

Although very central, the setting was like you were in a rural location. Beautiful mature trees and tropical vegetation surrounded the cottages. The dining area where breakfast was served was in a separate 2-storey building had a huge guava tree right in front which the resident capuchin monkeys use to move around. It was a treat seeing them jump from the roof to the tree to wherever they were headed for the day while we were having breakfast. They offered an array of local and western breakfast items which kept us going until mid afternoon. The room and bathroom (albeit dated) are kept clean with daily housekeeping service. Restaurants, shops, and tour offices are within walking distance.
