Poas Volcano Lodge met all of our requirements. I would recommend booking rooms in the Lodge - an our friend had a room in the Lodge while ours was in the Garden Building. Lodge rooms much nicer! The staff was accommodating & friendly!

This was such a lovely place to stay at. Ken and Alejandra are some of the best hosts I’ve ever encountered. The location is so beautiful and peaceful. They also serve an organic breakfast with food items grown in their farm. They also provide services for massage and yoga if you need. They are the best. If you need a place to wind down and relax this is the place.

Gorgeous landscaping and view from this hotel! Very clean and comfortable- had organic soaps and lotions that were appreciated after weeks of travel. The beds were so comfy. The garden walk is a must! Generous breakfast offerings- staff is super nice and attentive. The shuttle service is awesome- just be sure to let them know 24 hours in advance when you need them and your flight info.

We liked the location. This hotel is located in the middle of the mountains with nice views to the valley with lot of nature around. Breakfast building is very cozy. Facilities in good condition, clean and fully comfortable. Close to Poás volcano, waterfalls and so many other attractions.

Absolutely amazing place to stay! The host invited me over for his bday and it was super fun and really cool to do that! Amazing time and beautiful cabins!

Fantastic views. Very quiet area. Great amenities in shared kitchen space.

Exceeded our expectations! Excellent value for a couple. Wonderful, friendly & attentive owner and staff, some english-speaking. Beautiful, quiet jungle and farm surroundings, and dark at night. We were able to carry our bags across the bridge, but this room would not be a good choice for young children or anyone with mobility challenges. Tips: warm up the hot tub a few hours before you plan to use it, be aware of the restaurant hours, drive in from the north, and stay longer than you think you should to explore this beautiful area :)

Very clean. - spotless! All amenities were thoughtfully provided. Quiet and dark made for good sleeping.

Relaxing and comfortable stay.

It was a beautiful property with many trails to walk on. The birds, in particular, the hummingbirds were incredible. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Mario was a great host and took great care of us.

The staff were wonderful even if we did not speak the same language. My kids loved the food. The location perfect for us. Beds were clean. Mattress so-so. Beautiful spot with the Colors and greenery

Great, modern, clean facility with beautiful exquisite natural grounds. Wonderful breakfast (included), and dinner (extra cost) at their restaurant.

We were greeted with a warm welcome (after a stressful journey including lost luggage!). Some cold beer and cold water was handed to us, which was lovely. The surroundings are lovely, we saw lots of birds. Breakfast was also great.

The owners of the hotel are very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we got our breakfast when we needed it and took us to the airport at a very early hour.
