The hotel was clean with lots of facilities, the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Awesome main lodge house, beautiful decor, comfy bed, wonderful bathroom. Lovely, well-kept grounds/garden. Dinner was delicious (fish & chips) didn't have breakfast. Would definitely stay again!

Nice looking hotel with parking close to Bristol. We booked last minute so there wasn't much choice but this was a good option. The room we had was large with a double and single bed in it. There was a kettle and tea making facilities.

The smell of the wood and the beautiful toiletries. The comfortable bed. The cleanliness. The quality of the tea tray products. The quirkiness. The diner with it's amazing breakfast choices.

The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. There were bath robes. Also at the pool they gave towel to use each time, meaning I didn't have to use the one from the room when swimming. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast excellent choice.,

Super amazing staff - they all are extremely supportive. Whether it’s manager at reception or at breakfast area both of them and their team are amazing.

The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet - excellent value for money. The large building dates to the mid 1800s with lots of original features. Easy free parking in front of the entrance. The bar felt like Cheers "Sometimes you wanna go Where everybody knows your name And they're always glad you came"

Everything was excellent. Breakfast was very good.

Easy access to shopping center and a short walk to all the local attractions, the hotel room was a lot bigger than other family rooms we have stayed and the beds were extremely comfortable, the staff were friendly and polite and their was always someone around to help with any queries

Easy quick breakfast, plenty of take away breakfast foods, fruit, cereal bars, choc au pans, fruit juices, coffee tea, small cereal boxes etc The hotel room was clean and looked fresh when we arrived

So clean and comfy, ridiculously quiet for a hotel at a pub. Great economy location for seeing the Bristol sights with excellent bus and rail connections. Several local food shops. Also the pub is lovely, great food.
