It was perfect. Staff organized and always helping me. Very very good location. Everything was clean and it was super confortable. Breakfast was very good with a lot of options. It’s crazy how perfect this hotel is.

This was our favorite stay of our whole trip to Iceland! We lucked out and got the corner room with a view of Skógafoss and the field of sheep. Breakfast was delicious and we were excited to find they had a hot tub! We’ve agreed that if we return to Iceland we will be staying here again.

Antique building but very well maintained. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Excellent location, several nice trails nearby. Plenty of parking. They also have an external sauna, so bring your swimsuit.

I do believe the hike from the waterfall is my most favorite...

I do believe the hike from the waterfall is my most favorite "green" hike of all time. (versus Sedona's red rock trails!!) If you can stand going up all of those stairs, try and plan at least a few hours to walk as much of the trail as you can. It is worth every moment!

The best waterfall in whole of iceland.

The best waterfall in whole of iceland. We could go so close to the waterfall and get totally drenched. That was an amazing and memorable experience. Very next to the falls are the steps to go to the top and view the falls from there. Loved it.

The room was absolutely amazing. Spacious and with a private bathroom. The view looked out over the hills and skogafoss waterfall. Breakfast was great each morning and the staff was incredibly helpful

it's a great and quiet location on the South Coast. It's super close to Skogafoss waterfall. The breakfast buffet was really good and great value. One morning, we had to leave early for a long hike and we were able to talk to the staff the day before to let us just pack some breakfast to-go. They were very accommodating.

The location was great! Easy to find and right next to Skógafoss waterfall. Perfect for getting to the falls early before other tourists. I enjoyed the breakfast. Nothing fancy, but a good selection and enough to fill you up.

Very convenient, a 2-minute drive from the Skogafoss Waterfall. Rooms and bathrooms are extra clean, and views from the windows are beautiful. The host was very responsive when I messaged with questions about check in, and check in and check out instructions were very easy and clear.

I liked this place. It is pretty small, but it was quite comfy. Single room has separate entrance from all the rest, which is 2 steps away from the main entrance. Shared kitchen is really nice and had everything I needed, also there is an amazing view of Skogafoss waterfall, mountains and many sheep in the field. Location is good, check-in easy. Didn't meet the host but communication was good. Overall, good place to stay for a couple of nights in South Iceland!
