I loved how spacious our room was. The hotel was so nice and clean. It definitely was in a good location. Quiet around the area but one/two streets over was all the shopping/food places. Loved the in house spa and facial options. We didn’t get a facial because they were booked out but massage was nice!

Everything in this hotel is outstanding. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, elegant and classy - the toiletries, luxury duvet, bedding and gorgeous cedar bath. The 'happy hour' glass of wine before dinner is a lovely service that they offer and we enjoyed listening to the jazz. The breakfast served each morning was delicious, generous and varied each day. We couldn't have asked for more, it was a wonderful experience.

Everything about our stay exceeded expectation. The staff was courteous and kind. The room was impeccable, and gave a truly authentic Japanese experience. We would not hesitate to stay again or to recommend.

I loved having a spacious place for our base in Kyoto! Fantastic locations close to subway and busses, fantastic restaurants all over! Great neighborhood and great and friendly bartender below.

The location of this property is gold. Walking distance to many many things including temples, restaurants, shops etc. Love the concept with the artwork in the rooms. It’s very special. Also loved that the hotel has an eco approach for example less plastic consuming etc. loved it

The owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We truly appreciated the flexibility of being able to store our luggage both before check-in and after check-out — it made our trip much more convenient. Excellent service and hospitality. Highly recommended!

Beautiful quiet clean and elegant.

From meeting desk staffs to all facilities in not only room and total hotel are perfect, especially bath room, outside view and price, which are impressive and cosy to stay.Really don't hesitate to book this property!

The staff are friendly. There isn't much varieity of choices in the break. I reserved for four breakfast. The food is in good quality. But In the end of my stay, I somewhat got tired of having the same things every morning. Perhaps there is no need to book more htan two breakfasts. The location is superb, very close to downtown for shopping and the traditional market. I would defintely stay again for next visits.

The location was pretty close to the Gion area. Everything in the hotel was clean and well organized. Loved the breakfast they provided.
