Really great hotel with lovely staff and a good-size room with lots of facilities! Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is no maid service but there is a washer and drier in the room which is great if you want to wash clothes. The staff are happy to provide clean towels if needed also. Location is great, about 10 minutes walk into Gion and there is a bus stop less than 3 minutes walk from the front door of the hotel. Special mention for the bed which was huge and very comfortable! This hotel is the best we have stayed in so far during our trip to Japan 😎👍🏻

Great location just across the bridge from shopping, with small businesses and restaurants very close. Breakfast was fresh bread with juice, which I enjoyed. Next time I am in Kyoto I will absolutely stay here.

Locations and conditions is Amazing

Really clean and comfortable, loved the room layout and all the amenities especially the diffuser and spacious bathroom. Laundry facilities were clean and easy to use, no detergent needed.

Location was prime but also peaceful and relaxing while being close to beautiful sights, shopping and easy to navigate. The room was beautiful, super spacious, clean and incredibly comfortable. The beds were great and we had a private in room onsen that was truly the highlight. Pajamas and yukata were provided in the room as well.

The hotel is gorgeous and is in the beautiful Gion district. Haru on reception was particularly friendly and helpful. Rooms were a good size and had lots of amenities. Loved the open top private onsen experience! Our bed was the comfiest and biggest bed out of all the places we had stayed on our trip to Japan.

All the staff are amazingly friendly, genuine smiles, very attentive to details. Thank you very much Mizuki Osawa for all your help during our stay! The location is situated next to the weeping Sakura.

Staff were extremely helpful. Room was comfortable and felt like home. Great guides for exploring the city. Although we didn't go on the free tours I thought that they were great offerings.
