Gasthaus Goldener Stern is next to the river Main in a quiet village. The rooms and bathrooms are modern and comfortable, although the double room is a bit on the small side. All rooms are light with multiple windows. The breakfast is big and continental, and the guest house has a very popular restaurant with a large selection of schnitzels for dinner.

Great staff and great location. Perfect location to go to the Wertheim Village. Very clean and inviting.

Location was perfect. You could go right into the town out the front doors. The parking was below easy to get to and the layout of the eating facilities and the bar were perfect.

Clean comfortable room, bed, shower. Excellent location. Bikes were stored in a connected locked garage. The gentleman at reception carried our bags to our room - very friendly. Loved the 11am checkout.

Just about everything! The location was fantastic. The host greeted us and explained the amenities of the apartment. This apartment was so well equipped with any and everything we needed during our 3-week stay. A Hugh plus was the washer and dryer located downstairs. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. And for those time we wished to eat out Wertheim was a short walk from the apartment. Also the parking immediately outside our door was very convenient. I rate the apartment an A+ and highly recommend this apartment.

Amazing breakfast, nice comfortable room, helpfull host

The breakfast was absolutely delicious! the couple at the front desk were very nice and helpful. we don't speak German and they were both very kind to us w/ our English language shortcomings. The same can be said for the restaurant staff. We appreciated it. Also - the bike garage was great. and the hotel is perfect for cyclists.

Excellent location in the old town and only a stone's throw from the river. A very attractive town in a lovely setting, with lots of cafes and restaurants. Public parking was nearby and cost 3 euros 50 per 24 hrs. The flat was very spacious and well equipped.
