Excellent behaviour of the staff and the spacious rooms

A wonderful stay im a unique hotel with a lot of character to it. Our well appointed room was very comfortable; even though the rooms were converted jail cells (literally), we did not feel like we were hemmed in. The service staff was fantastic -- warm and personable. Loved the layout of the hotel. We had dinner here one night and that too was excellent. The self guided tour of the converted Bodmin jail was outstanding. I would highly recommend it to all hotel guests. The equipment in the gym was top notch. This was our BEST stay during our recent Cornwall trip.

The whole manor was beautiful and charming. It was wonderful for our family to have five nights here with our own kitchen, living room, and separate bedroom for the kids.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. The team was warm, attentive, and made me feel genuinely welcome throughout my visit. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with plenty to choose from.

Lovely house in a quiet corner of serene beautiful countryside, lovely hosts who couldn't do enough for us. Fantastic house, open plan with everything you need for a base to explore, or a warm cosy hideaway to escape the day to day of whatever life you have. Honestly one of the best B&Bs I've stayed in, really it's a super friendly guesthouse, Louella didn't stop offering us tea, drinks, assistance and really anything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The dogs were lovely too, especially Molly, a real people pleaser. Would go out for my way to stay again if I'm ever even close to the area.

Beautiful property in a gorgeous location with very friendly and accommodating hosts. The breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed getting to know Lucy, George and the other guests before going off to explore Cornwall for the day and coming back to a very comfortable bed with the all important tea making facilities. Highly recommend staying here and will definitely come back if I'm back in the vicinity again.

The lodge was well located for visiting the coast and Bodmin Moor. The lodge was very clean on arrival, had everything we needed for our short break and the park site was very quiet. Good tea room and pub in village.

Beautiful apartment, beds very comfortable close to all the shops Iceland was just over the road. The apartment was very clean would definitely recommend.
