The house is beautiful (and ok to use), especially the living room which has an amazing view of the lake. The owner (Marcin?) was so helpful and all of his suggestions were great. Breakfast, cooked by Marcin, is incredible and healthy! It was quiet, comfy and had everything you would want or need!

Forest pod was brilliant, nice and cosy with everything you need in it. Someone left their Netflix account on the TV so had access to that too which was a bonus 🤣!! Location is beautiful and peaceful also which is just what we wanted.

Breakfast was delicious. Cold starters (yogurt with fruit) and pastries on buffet table then hot breakfast to order. Live entertainment in the bar on Friday was fabulous. Dinner was delicious and then we stayed to watch Starsky perform until the bar closed.

Everything! Out of all the places we stayed, this by far was the best. The family that manages the place were very nice and helpful. Definitely would recommend this place..the views was beautiful the breakfast was amazing and love the little town.

Beautiful location directly on Loch Lomond! Ability to cook our own meals, but also very good food at the restaurant in the adjacent hotel (available for lunch and dinner for non-hotel guests). Ferry from the marina across the loch to the Highland Way hiking trail. Very quiet and relaxing. Accessible by train!

The location. Stunning views from the room. Was able to have a bath and be able to see the loch. Stunning. And Marcin, our host had a bird feeder beside the car park and we were greeted by a red squirrel who was feasting.

The view from the cottage and the garden were beautiful. Such a quiet and peaceful location that you can properly relax in. The small sun room was perfect when cold or wet, and to see the red squirrel. We put out nuts and it came by around 8am several times. The cottage is well equipped and the beds are comfy. There is a good size parking space. There is a small post office and shop in the village with basic essentials. It takes cash only, but you can take cash out at the post office (when it's open)

Scotty and Anna are welcoming and attentive hosts. Off-road private parking. Room was impeccable, small fridge with milk etc. Views to die for. A short stay, but we'll be back.

The house was well equipped with everything you'd find in a home. 3 bedrooms with double beds that were very comfortable. Sky TV. A 5 min walk into the village. Parking right outside for more than one car.

We had such a wonderful stay at Rowan House. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and easy to contact. We had the most wonderful time using the sea kayaks to paddle up the loch where we saw seals. The apartment was clean, well equipped and free parking. We couldn't have had a better stay!
