The bedroom was clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated. It was quiet and we weren’t disturbed.
Residents car parking was very secure as locked overnight.
The food is really good and reasonably priced given the quality.
Would definitely return when in the area next time.

I liked that the room was large. There was plenty of tea and coffee with fresh milk in a communal area. The ensuite was modern and spotlessly clean with nice toiletries and towels.
It was peaceful at night. So I slept very well. There was plenty of off road parking.

Very acceptable country pub/restaurant, down a country lane, miles away from anywhere, outside seating, plenty of parking, exactly what you expect when you are making a trip in the English countryside and need somewhere as a base for a couple of days.
