EVERYTHING!!! We recently stayed here and had such a wonderful experience! The house is absolutely beautiful, tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. You can really see the care and attention that has gone into every detail. The owners were fantastic — friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was another huge highlight for us. It’s situated in a lovely, upmarket area and being just down the road from the consulate was an enormous bonus and made everything so convenient. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and well-located place to stay!

The hosts were not only very kind and friendly, they were also extremely helpful and accommodating, especially when our circumstances complicated planning check-in. They had lovely recommendations for things to do in the area, not to mention how very comfortable our room was. Loved it! Absolute value for money!

We arrived at the place and nothing was in place. The place wasnt clean at all and the bedding was not fresh. No wifi for our entire stay and I had a project to finish off. We were told we could not make use of the washing machine but it was listed as an amenity. There were no towels at the property and when I called the host, I was told it is “self catering”??? I specifically told them we have guests coming from Gauteng. The pool was very dirty. No toilet paper in the main bathroom. No cleaning materials at all. The host when we arrived had some people with her at the property. Not sure who it was 😕. We were also told to buy our own firewood but the yard was filled with firewood. No one showed us how to use the fireplace and it was a struggle. No safe at the property. No extra blankets . No heater

The owner/hostess is kind, warm, attentive and generous. Chef/ Caretaker/ Manager Frank is exceedingly warm and generous. He makes an excellent breakfast. The availability of fruit bowl 24/7. The place felt like a home as I was working from my room. Bless them. May they be blessed abundantly.

The place was spacious, comfortable, secure, fully equipped and the host Josh was fantastic. Having a washing machine and dishwasher for the long stay was convenient for our team.

It was a lovely quiet location, and a cute little house with all we needed. We could walk to a park/playground and the library, and since we had a car it was easy to get around elsewhere. Our hosts were too kind to lend us a cooler to take a picnic into Kirstenbosch.

Easy Checkin and Checkout. The space was so comfy and clean, Wayne was amazing as a host, greeting and taking a moment to chat upon meeting and doing a show of the space. Thank you Wayne. Communication prior to the stay was great, allowing prep well in advance. The living area was lovely, spacious and comfortable with a tv and seating on a coucb or at a little eating table. The communal patio section outside of the living room was lovely in the evening and being along out there was such a spoil. The bathroom and bedroom allowed for comfort, with the bed nice and comfy. Layout and steps to follow with the kitchenette was also great. I would definitely look out for a stay here again if the opportunity to head back out there allowed! Location is convenient to a mall and other surrounding areas within 3 -10 minutes drive to the places I popped into, which included Blue Route Mall, Steenberg Village Center, shops and restaurants between those spaces. It's difficult to put into words the amazing time we had at Plotsklaps. The beautiful property is in a perfect location in the Tokai neighborhood of Cape Town, equidistant between downtown and all the attractions around False Bay and Cape Point. It sits beneath a picturesque mountain near many great dining and shopping places as well as the Constantia vineyards and Kirstenbosch botanical garden. Guests stay in a two-story guest cottage next to Dave and Rachael's house, both of which are architectural wonders with their high thatched rooves supported by exposed log beams. Our two kids (aged 9 and 11) slept soundly in the bunkbeds in the downstairs room, with their own bathroom. The master bed upstairs was very comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. There's a full kitchen (with washer and dryer), dining room, office area, and living room with hundreds of TV channels and DVDs of classic movies. We really appreciated the welcome items of coffee, home-grown eggs, bread, milk, and delicious jams and rusks that Rachael makes herself. It was particularly nice to be able to wash our clothes after a week on safari. The property has a spacious pool and poolside pavilion with a barbecue pit and a large yard where the kids could play soccer and the chickens and cats roamed free. Dave's generator was much appreciated during "load-shedding," i.e., set periods each day when the government-run electric company turns off everyone's electricity because the power plants can't handle the overall demand. Dave and Rachael were fantastic hosts, attending to our every need and providing great recommendations about local activities and dining. They were extremely communicative, always happy to chat about where to go, how to get there, and what to do while there.

THE HOST: JOSH WENT OUT OF HIS WAY, EVEN ABOVE AND BEYOND TO ASSURE MYSELF AND MY FAMILYS STAY WAS COMFORTABLE AND PLEASURABLE...I WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS VENUE TO ANYONE SEEKING A TRANQUIL ACCOMODATION FOR WORK OR LEISURE.

The property was fantastic. A stately villa with outlying buildings overlooking a private pool and lush, beautiful gardens. Tanya and the staff catered to every need, and the whole experience was fantastic. Perfect location in Constantia was close to wineries and great restaurants.
