Beautiful quiet area 25 min from Santa Elena. Victor was gracious and helpful. His wife prepared a fabulous breakfast for us. The room was beautiful, including a rocker and couch. Very cozy!

We really loved our stay here — such a peaceful, quiet place surrounded by beautiful nature. The sunsets were amazing, and it honestly felt like home. Everything was very clean, and the sounds of nature made it even more relaxing. Big thanks for the fresh farm eggs and coffee — we really appreciated it! P.S. P.S. The location and view were wonderful. We especially appreciated design of the condo that enables you to enjoy the view and yet have privacy. The jacuzzi was a wonderful perk. The host was excellent to communicate with and treated us above and beyond expectations.

This was by far the best experience I have ever had in Costa Rica. I traveled to 15 different locations over 6 months and this host family was the most generous and helpful family I have ever known. They brought me food all the time (fruit, meat, vegetables and snacks) and even gas at one point for my car. They even took me in their Jeep to see a sunset. The facility itself is clean and impeccably maintained. The house has everything you need to cook with. You hear howler monkeys in the trees across the street and chickens next door. The outdoor living area is perfect for larger groups or families. There is a convenience store a short walk away where you can find some basic staples including some meat and vegetables but it is really small (one room) so I would suggest if you come for more than a couple days that you bring groceries with you because the bigger grocery stores are about 20 minutes away. The best part is you are in the country surrounded by farmland. The yard is completely fenced in for dogs. I felt safe with a relative living next door. Highly recommend!

Loved that we were in such close proximity to our dear friend Alexa! We loved the lake view, the birds, the plants, and adventure!
