Perfect location for group enjoyment

How the hotel rooms were away from the pub. And had a nice little courtyard we had a little fish pond outside our room.This isn't our first stay we stayed a few years ago. The staff was really nice and helpful. We had breakfast the next morning It was very nice. The drinks are reusable priced as we had a drink in the pub the pub toilets were nice and clean. My only advice would be don't open the door to your room if it's a wet night the room was very hot so we opened the door to let some air in and ended up with a frog in our room but it all added to our stay and we found it funny 🤣.

Very friendly host and well equipped with all the essentials. One of the best stay we ever had as a group. Very clean property and strategic location for Peak District trip.

we needed a place to stay for one night in Matlock, the property was very comfortable and well equipped, we couldn't find the place at the beginning because it is in a small alleyway our sat nav didn't have but the host helped us find the place.

We loved our stay. The cottage was clean, comfy and in the perfect location.

There was no breakfast as it was self catering. The location was convenient for us.

The location and house was excellent. The house has all that was needed with a well equipped kitchen and comfy lounge. WIFI was excellent much to my son's delight.

This stay was amazing. It’s easy to find with ample parking around the location. The property owner has thought of everything. READ THE BOOK she provides! It provides all the details of the house and all questions you’d have. The yard is lovely. Matlock is a lovely place to stay in the Dales and this property is an easy choice for anyone looking!

The location was ideal and the cottage is just so sweet. It was super clean and comfy.

We received a lovely warm welcome from Hilary when we arrived. The barn is beautiful and cosy, very well equipped, everything has been thought about, it had everything we needed for a weekend break. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the lovely log burner! The home made scones, jam, clotted cream, fresh eggs, milk and Prosecco were a lovely treat! Thank you for a lovely stay, we will definitely be returning soon.
