We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation and can absolutely recommend it. The accommodation is very well equipped and offers a beautiful view. It is located in a slightly quieter and less noisy area than directly in Ella, but is still easily and quickly accessible by tuk-tuk or your own vehicle. The operators are incredibly warm and helpful. Tharaka in particular was always there for us, helped us with everything and made sure we felt completely comfortable. We had a very relaxing and lovely time. The breakfast was very tasty and no matter what we needed - we always received immediate help. You can see that a lot of importance is placed on the well-being of the guests here. A clear recommendation - we would come back anytime!😍

The place was clean, cool, and just as I expected a comfortable and peaceful stay. However, the water supply pressure needs some improvement. Overall, still a good experience and would recommend.

All the things i'll like in this hotel

Secret Mountain Paradise was a hidden gem. Challenging to get to but so immensely peaceful and serene. You get a beautiful view of the Bandarawela temple from the bed and the astronomical night sky full of stars. Chami is the most helpful, kind, caring, accommodating and considerate host ever. At any time of the day (4:30 am for a safari trip or 10 pm from the town), he would organise pickups/ drop offs to accommodate your schedule and needs. He would plan all tours and trips without any hassles and is fully reliable. Hot water is readily available at all times, and the fan was often more than adequate in the cool mountainous air. I would highly recommend if you would like to stay away from the hustle and bustle of main town and a little pocket of peaceful abode to just breathe and be. Thank you so much, Chami!

The host was incredibly kind and accommodating!! The property was in a beautiful location with a view, a few minutes drive away from Ella town proper so it was a quieter atmosphere/not disruptive. The overall property had such an open and friendly vibe, so if you were looking to make friends you definitely could do that here. The breakfast was amazing and came with a wonderful view

The location is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful mountain views, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy Ella’s natural beauty. The family room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Waking up to the fresh air and greenery was a highlight of our trip. What really made the experience special was the hospitality. The hosts were extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful from the moment we arrived. They made us feel at home and were always ready to assist with anything we needed, including local tips and travel guidance.

The room was spacious and clean, and the hotel is located just one minute from Kumbalwela Junction. Mr. Suresh (the host) was helpful and friendly. He even allowed me a late check-out without charging an extra penny.

All the people who are working at this place are very polite and kind. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They also have a convenient lobby and a big balcony. They served a hearty breakfast and helped us in the organization of a city tour.

Our stay at Mistara Ella in Ella, Sri Lanka was truly exceptional. It was a brand new hotel and the views are absolutely breathtaking and the pool is the perfect place to relax while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The property has a very peaceful and special atmosphere that makes it hard to leave. What made the stay even more memorable was the amazing staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. A special thank you to the owner, Mr. Tharaka, whose hospitality and friendliness made us feel right at home. If you are visiting Ella, I highly recommend staying at Mistara Ella. It was a wonderful experience and we would definitely love to come back.
