The house is very comfortable and extra spacious. Rooms are cozy and kitchen well-equipped. The location is just about right, just a couple of minutes from the city, but far enough to feel like you're all by yourself in the beautiful Serra da Estrela region. Teresa, our host, was ready to support us at all times and made our stay much better.

We had an amazing stay while visiting Serra da Estrela mountain peak.The house was incredibly spacious,spotlessly clean,and very well organized,perfect for a family.It was also kids friendly and located near the mountain peak,offering a peaceful and quiet environment.We truly enjoyed the comfort and tranquility.Highly recomended ,10/10

It's a wonderful place, in an excellent location. Actually right on the official hiking trail we came in on! The host is hard-working and kind, her property is exquisite, her dogs are super sweet, and her friend João was a pleasure to meet. The house is very well-stocked with beverages, plus a little choricao and cheese. You MUST try the host's homemade geropigo and aguardente. They're DELICIOUS. Don't try to finish the aguardente without a group -- it's very strong. I had to take the leftover home with me :) The bed I stayed in was extremely comfortable and warm. We had a great time overall!

We had a wonderful weekend stay and couldn’t recommend this place more. The owners were absolutely fantastic! Kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They provided us with plenty of useful information about the surrounding area and local points of interest, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The house itself is truly special. It has a warm, nostalgic atmosphere that takes you back to childhood days spent at your grandparents’ home, cozy, comforting, and full of charm. It’s the perfect place to spend quality time with family. Everything was spotless and very well cared for. The location is excellent! Ideal for playing in the snow and also close enough to town for convenience. 100% recommended — and pet-friendly too! Definitely repeating.

We had a lovely stay. The view is unbeatable and the hosts were so friendly and attentive. They gave wonderful recommendations for things to do in the area and personally made sure we knew how to operate all of the appliances. It’s a place to really feel at home in the mountains.
