United KingdomI had a very warm welcome from Katy as I arrived. She and Olivier made me feel perfectly at home in their beautifully furnished Maison. The bedroom with en suite was well appointed with good quality bedding and towels. The breakfast was temptingly presented, delicious with a good and varied choice to enjoy before setting off to explore Carcassonne. The sunshine enabled me to have breakfast in their stunning and well cared for garden.
Although it was a fair walk to reach the old city, they provided me with a map and comprehensive directions so I could not get lost. My stay was everything I could wish for.

An interesting old style building, perhaps a merchant’s house well situated, in general for the old city. But in a very busy road and opposite the city’s prison. So not the best location ! But convenient for the sites, the old city and all the bars and restaurants on Rue Trivalle.

The location is perfect just outside of the castle and the views, grounds and facilities were fantastic. The staff were so pleasant and helpful, it was a lovely place to stay. The bar overlooking the castle and gardens was lovely to sit in and the addition of playing cards on the table was really fun. Breakfast was really good with heaps of food.

A beautiful hotel with great views from the terrace, as well as a beautiful pool area. We were upgraded for free from a standard room to a junior suite overlooking the Basilica and the room was amazing; very spacious and with a huge bed, shower and bath in the bathroom and plenty of storage space. Plus the staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The best place to stay in the old city.

We like the location and the fact it was walking distance to the citadel and city centre. We loved the terrace and it's wonderful view of the citadel.
The street was lively but the bedrooms very quiet.
The apartment was very clean, well equipped and our host very welcoming and helpful - good communication at all times.

The location was excellent, close to both the airport and the city center. The staff were friendly and even arranged a last-minute taxi for us when our Uber didn't arrive. However, cleanliness was a bit lacking, especially in the shower area. Despite this, the property was comfortable and budget-friendly, with a cozy bed that ensured a good night's sleep. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement in cleanliness.

A simply marvellous apartment; clean, bright, well equipped, most spacious and very comfortable. It is a quiet and convenient location just a 5 to 10 minute walk from the station and city centre and 15 to the castle.
