Places to Stay in Izu

Huge and clean rooms, it’s quite old but very well mantained. great onsen with sauna and rottenburo. We are 5 persons and stayed very comfortably here. It’s a very well equipped hotel at this proce. It exceeded our expectations

The room is spacious, well designed, comfortable, and the private onsen that comes with the room is an absolute bonus. The hotel is located away from the touristic areas, in a highly exclusive hill top with ample greenery. We visited during the cherry blossom season and the scenery is one of the best in the region.

Everything was wonderful. Gorgeous room with a lovely onsen and wonderful food. The staff were so kind and helpful and the place is one of a kind. I absolutely recommend, particularly if you are a foodie, love unique boutique experiences and enjoy a private onsen.

The staff are very helpful and are always trying their best to make sure your stay is comfortable. The food provided was really good and of high quality. The onsens are beautiful and also very well kept.

Cleanest hostel I’ve ever been in, convenient location, and reasonably priced. But what really blew me away was the service. Hey-san was incredibly helpful with recommendations and reservations nearby. He even helped with our laundry while we were out and about. Our whole group loved staying here.

The host was very welcoming and knew enough English to orient us well. The room was big and bright and the fold out mattresses were very comfortable. Everything was clean and tastefully decorated. The hot spring bath was just great. The breakfast was wonderful. You can walk everywhere. Oh, and the balcony overlooking the rushing river, and listening to the sound of the water was so peaceful and relaxing.

The room is big and very clean, the quilt is new, smells good and soft. There is a relaxing room, which contains massage chairs, hanging chairs and foot massage machines. The milk in the vending machine is so fresh and sweet that I drink it many times. Thanks to the wonderful staff, I have a great journey here.

Beautiful, remote location, with a river running down below, creating a perfect atmosphere to relax. Stayed together with my partner it's the perfect place. Peace and quiet, baths at the pension as well as delicious food in the morning. If you have access to a car, I highly suggest this place over others. We highly recommend this and would come back here if we ever go to Izu again. The absolut best part was the host - on of the kindest people in Japan.

This is a very warm and beautiful renovated coffee-en-bloc house with large rooms - it provides all the necessities and facilities you need Check in process was quite smooth. Vendor was very nice and helpful. Very classy interior with free access to a nice public Onsen nearby
