The interaction with the our host Anna-Marie was fantastic. She provided valuable information about the Coromandel peninsula. Property was easy to miss, if I hadn't checked it out on Google Maps! A quiet location with a beautiful water outlook in a very pretty town. Kitchen adequate, and rooms a good size. Sunset Motel does have lovely sunsets!

Great location for a bird enthusiast & photographer as the small beach front was teeming with bird life. Great walk a block away at low tide. Lovely homely cabin with all facilities. Warm & cosy in the winter weather.

Hassle-free, easy check-in. One of the beds was in a separate room (the main living room) which worked well for our group. Spacious and plenty of room, as well as a full kitchenette. Great place to stay after going to the Pinnacles!

Breakfast was offered but I declined as I was not a breakfast man. The location was awesome. Views were beautiful. The birds were singing all day long. Lodge hid itself within the beautify hills of Thames but only and yet 30 seconds later you're in the city. Depending on where you stand the view could be the seashore through the big trees or the lush hills and lovely bush. Easy access to my room.
Warren and Jeweline (hosts) were very welcoming.

The plants in the park are lovely, as is the sound of the trickling stream. It’s a good location close to the Coromandel walks eg The Pinnacles. The showers, toilets and kitchen were kept extremely clean. You can park on site. I cannot comment on the TV lounge/pool as I didn’t use them. The hosts were kind, warm and attentive.
