River cottage was a unique place to stay with everything you could possibly want or need. The hosts were very attentive to all your needs. The breakfast pack with personalised names and bottle of wine was so lovely. There is a lovely outdoor area to use but also has a pub nearby for food if you don't fancy cooking. Bertie the dog was so spoiled too with bowls and treats and somewhere to sleep. Overall a very special place to visit and in a great location too.

Everything was lovely. It was extremely clean and everything was new. The room was very bright and airy. The shower was good. There was a fridge, kettle together with tea/coffee and a hairdryer. Parking was a bonus and the location was perfect especially if you are using the board to Farne. Andrew was a very friendly smiley person who told us to let him know if we needed anything. Was a great place to stay.

Having read some poor reports we didn’t expect much from the George Hotel. However, we had a lovely stay here which really exceeded our expectations! The hotel has been renovated recently and our room was freshly decorated, clean and comfortable. The hotel sits in a beautiful location, on the banks of the river and right on Hadrian’s Wall walk. The food (dinner and breakfast) was good and staff helpful.

Location really nice. Room with balcony had lovely views. Continental breakfast had a variety of choices. The owner and the staff team were really friendly and very helpful. Paul went out of his way to give us directions to avoid a crash which had occurred on a major road just before travelling home . Thanks for a lovely stay!

Lovely B&B - great location and friendly owner/staff. No issues with parking on the street outside, lovely fresh breakfast provided. Nice to chat to Gareth at breakfast about our plans, with some useful advice given. A great place to stay in Seahouses, with Bamburgh a pleasant 3 mile walk along the beautiful beach. Would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

The Inn is located on the edge of the National Park so was an ideal start point for our 7 day holiday to visit Northumbria and places of Interest. All of the staff were so welcoming and helpful it was a delight to stay, so much so we had dinner every evening from a varied menu. The Inn was exceptionally clean in every area. and the bed very comfortable Sometimes you find the perfect place to stay and this was it!

We had a lovely stay. The room was very comfy. It was nice to have fresh milk in the fridge for making tea or coffee in the room. Linda & Peter made us very welcome, with plenty of knowledge of the area. The breakfast set us up for the day. It’s in a great location, only about 5 minutes drive from the beach. Plenty of places to visit.

Lovely stay. Spacious lodge 2 double bedrooms and a twin for the Grandson! Very clean and had everything we needed including a welcome drink 🥲 Great location for Alnwick and coastal areas. We visited Craster for kippers and Walkwoth beach was lovely. Hot tub was very good and welcome after a day out. 2 bathrooms both showers hot. We would stay again as lots more places we want to explore nearby. The Northumberland Arms was fab for Sunday lunch and close by.

We had a lovely stay. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped. I loved the fact that dressing gowns and disposable slippers were provided. I slept in the single room and the bed was very comfortable. The house is deceptively spacious. Children would adore the seaside decor. The location is perfect for exploring the local area. We visited Low Hauxley nature reserve twice. Perfect for the bird watchers in our party. The hosts were friendly and provided all the information needed for an angst free check in. Highly recommended.
