The room was very clean and cleaned daily, The air conditioning was working very well and made our stay convenient on really hot days. Mr. Vitor, the owner, is very responsive and cooperative. There is commitment to daily room cleaning service. The location is 2 minutes far from the city center. The place is safe and secure as well.

Despite some of the more recent mixed reviews, which had caused us to be wary, we had a lovely stay with no complaints. We did not dine for dinner at the hotel, but had a terrific breakfast and lovely light lunch. The dining staff were particularly pleasant. The location was really delightful as we watched all the boating activity from our room while looking across the river to the beautiful tiered landscape.
We would highly recommend the Vintage House as the loviest way to spend a few days in the Douro.

Lovely, small touches like fresh roses & orchids throughout the house. Port also supplied! Location sensational for views tho not recommended if u don’t have a car, as walking to town centre is not an option. Highly recommend tho as a lovely place to stay with all the amenities

Carla & Marcelo were very hospitable, helpful, and friendly.The Vila/Winery is well designed to show up Portuguese culture and comfort gustes as well. The breakfast was fresh organic and a plus to our stay. Two outside pools are well maintained and have amazing views. This is the best place to stay to explore Duoro River.

The owner Antonio and his wife are very welcoming and friendly and gave us good guidance and tips. The location is ideal, close to a large supermarket, a cafe and a laundromat. And really close to the city center.

Excellent location, right by the cathedral. Enormous suite, with all mod cons and facilities in an interesting historic building. Comfortable bed, wonderful shower. All very new and clean.

Fantastic place to stay! Incredible staff, perfect location ( 10 minute walk to Pinhão) with stunning views. Exceptional quality food and comfortable rooms. A special thank you to Andre who stayed late to welcome us after check in time. He also did a fabulous wine tour.

When we arrived the host was waiting at the gate to welcome us. He showed us the room and even gave us some old vintage port wine from the estate.
The room was very clean and luxurious. As the house is located at the start of the wine route it made for the perfect place to stay.
It was truly a one of a kind experience all together.

We had a lovely stay here and we're well looked after. The accommodation was just as advertised, comfortable bed, fridge in the room, excellent breakage and a very nice group of staff who even made us a packed breakfast for an early start.
A little out of town but great location to meet the locals. Highly recommend.

The location is a short walk from the train station and near the downtown and riverfront. The room was modern and very nice. Great bathroom and plenty of shampoo etc. There was extra bedding in the closet which was nice since we like a lot of pillows. The fridge had some yogurt and milk which was a nice touch.

Lovely big room. Quite remote location. Pretty little village. Hotel has a restaurant which is a big bonus. Close to wineries and probably the nicest place to stay seeing the other large villages. Very quaint village. Free parking all around.
