Places to Stay in Pinhão

I loved this place. Beautiful small Quinta and family owned. The room for 3 (2 adults & an eight year old) was spacious (we had a lot of stuff), beds comfortable, clean, with air conditioning and private bathroom. Free parking and breakfast was included. The personnel was excellent, they clean your room daily, if you like. I felt ill one day, they prepared a special soup, took very care of us every day. They offer a tour of their winery (couldn’t do it because I was sick) and my husband say that they have good wines. My daughter loved the pool. Food was delicious. Definitely coming back.

Boutique hotel with comfortable and very clean room. Large bathroom and great shower. The hostess was friendly and helpful and made a wonderful breakfast each morning and provided great recommendations on the local area. The Pinhao region is unbelievably beautiful with numerous restaurants and wineries. Our room overlooked the river and terraced grape and olive orchards on the opposite hill.

Stunning location with superb views Excellant food. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. A real highlight of our holiday in Portugal. We highly recommend a stay at this beautiful property

This place was a Five Star Resort in a very unique place that had lots of wine history.The dinner was exceptional and reasonable and the free breakfast was a nice touch. Beautiful drive down the mountain! Certainly a gem that is a must in the Douro Valley!

Great hosts! A bit rustic, Pinhão was in general so good for the course. Be aware bring food or understand there are few restaurants and limited hours. So very appreciated that hosts stock fridge and present a welcome snack at their cafe. Cheers!

Great place to stay. Tania was amazing, super attentive and kind. The view is also amazing.

Location was a nice short walk to Pinhão and the edge of the Douro. Breakfast was simple but excellent and the accommodations were quiet and comfortable. I was there for just a quick night to experience the region but certainly would consider strongly returning.

Breakfast was just perfect for the moment. Fresh fruit, and warm croissants with jam. The location could be both positive and negative. Because it was on the side of a hill, the walk up could be a little tough. That being said, the view from our balcony was truly outstanding. We spent a good deal of time on that balcony, admiring the Douro Valley.

The room was exactly as expected from the pictures. Beautiful views of the Duoro with some chairs and a table to sip wine at while enjoying the view. Very quiet location up in the hills and a clean well kept room.

Casa Rocha is a delightful apartment in a fabulous location. Everything you need is there for a perfect stay and the roof top outside terrace is sublime - great place for a morning cuppa overlooking the River Douro and its valley. Superb fast wifi. I was also able to park right outside the apartment. Just loved it!

The host was so kind and generous. It’s an adorable place in a beautiful location. Also, the daily bread delivery was awesome.

Excellent location, close to train station. Lovely room, the pool terrace was great for the view over the Douro with a glass of wine. Loved it.

Centrally located in center city. Walkable to wineries and restaurants. Apt over looked Douro river and Terraced vines with excellent views.

It was very close to the train station. Comfortable, lots of room, quite clean. Very quiet in the evenings.

This place is wonderful and one of the best views you could ever want while in the Douro Valley. We walked to multiple wineries while here and enjoyed every second. I highly recommend booking this beautiful Quinta! The host left us pastries and bread that were delicious!
