Places to Stay in Peso da Régua

Great place with swimming pool outside, inside spa area. Our kid of 10 years old loved it too. Quiet and easy to access. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The restaurants are of great quality. We’d like to highlight the gastronomic restaurant, a must do - every dish is a delicious surprise, it’s all local and service is top! Congrats to the Chef!

Only stayed one night but the room was fantastic, fully equipped and perfect for a family stay. The host was quick to respond it took only 20mins between the reservation and the check-in. He was very friendly and helpful, also helped with a restaurant dinner reservation. The food was delicious, I totally recommend this combo when visiting peso da régua, accommodation at hospedaria vale do rodo and dinner at churrasqueira xanoca

As a US couple traveling by car through Portugal, we loved having the opportunity to enjoy a glass of wine and the olives we purchased along the way on our private balcony facing the laundry mat as we did our laundry. We purchased a delicious roasted chicken at the super mercado about 2 mimures away and ate dinner on our balcony. We appreciated the down time we had as the next morning we had scheduled a drive along the Douro river with a boat ride and wine tour to follow only 20 minutes away! Rooms were very clean as other travelers had reviewed. Recommended restaurants were a 10 minute walk but we were feeling lazy so are onsite. We parked in a public parking lot directly across from our room and our car was visible from our balcony.

The apartment has everything you need, all in perfect condition, and includes every required safety feature. We loved the apartment, which was very modern and comfortable. The location was perfect, and the staff were extremely professional and friendly.

Wonderful host, fresh baked bread, jam water, milk, butter, coffee, tea and excellent port were provided. Restaurant recommendations were wonderful, view was great. Lovely facility. We had a late check in and they were very accommodating.

Great location in city center, on a quiet local street. Close to the river, restaurants and stores. Super clean, shower had a panoramic view, super fast wifi, very comfortable. Hosts were splendid and had a really nice included cafe breakfast. Parking 5 minute walk down to fre city parking. Shared kitchen available.
