Staff was excellent. Their hospitality is what charmed us, especially the kitchen and serving staff. Property is boutique and not crowded with a great view over the beach. The sound of the waves put you in a comfortable sleep. Boating experience in the backwaters, viewing the mangroves and dolphin watching in between was good fun for the kids, although the boat could have been better to help reduce the duration.

Breakfast was pretty good - mix of Indian and more western options (usually kid friendly like "chicken nuggets") and varied from day to day. The place is right on the beach and overlooks the main section of beach that people swim at and gather around. All of the food options and street stalls also sort of centre around the fringes of the property too.

Tea Tree Suites, Manipal features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Manipal. With a fitness center, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom.
