Beautiful location and extremely comfortable rooms. We got a free upgrade to the Lakeside room, which was spacious, welcoming and well fitted out. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, helping us out with any questions or requests we had. The continental breakfast was delicious and had a range of options. We also greatly enjoyed the (not included) dinner at the adjoining York Bistro.

Quiet, restful place. Immediately felt at home when we arrived and commented on how happy we were as we relaxed in the living room on a very comfortable couch. All the furnishings were modern and tastefully selected. The beds were ultra comfortable. The deck was an added bonus for drinking a glass of wine in the perfect silence as we enjoyed the sunset in Martinborough.
