The location was amazing with truly ski on and ski out...and great even for non-skiers with access to 3 gondalas. The lockers even had boot heaters! The room was perfect for families and the food and staff were exceptional! Every night...the food was amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Having a massage, pool, sauna on site was great and made our vacation easy and perfect... especially for the price!

Amazing and delicious breakfast. Location is perfect, in a quite neighboring and Zell am See center is a nice hike away from the hotel. The pool is also very nice, small but it was more than enough for us. Simply perfect for a nice retreat in nature.

Beautiful place, since we had a short visit to Austria and had to cover 3 main places so missed to enjoy the local attractions available in Zell Am See. The Hohen Tauren National Park is awesome.

The Hohen Tauren National Park is awesome. Great natural history interpretation and spectacular scenery. Only problem is that it is to a large degree marketed as driving cruise and there are a lot of fast motorcycles and cars rushing through not appreciating the scenery. It feels like someone is always breathing down your neck. The fast drivers are pushy and aggressive!

Piesendorf is a charming village within the immediate surrounds of Zell am See. You can leave the car behind and reach all places of interest by public transport. We were impressed with the public amenities in the village such as the playgrounds and the wonderful swimming pool. But what impressed us most was the open friendliness of the locals.

Great for family vacation.

Great for family vacation. Lot of playgrounds and other attractions. Free public transport for guests. We visit (with great success): - Schmidolin’s Adventure World on Schittenhöhe, - Wildpark Ferleiten, - Grossglockner High Alpine Road, and a bit further away: - Krimmel Watterfalls, - Slide Path in the Wildkogel, - Alpentherme in Bad Hofgastein.

Wram , welcoming and relaxed. Atmosphere of adventure and history. Other residents very friendly. Breakfast exceptional- and we have travelled a lot around Europe- one of the best. Fresh and tasty evening meal with something for all tastes ¹on the menu. Perfect location for the pass .

One of the best and cleanest place we've ever seen, my husband and I were talking about, we have not seen any rubbish on the road, very friendly people where ever you go. Will sure go back in the future, we only stayed 4 days, I think 1 week should be enough for you to see the places.

Ski season lasts long on the Kaprun glacier making it a perfect choice for spring skiing. Pists were in a good shape end of April and most of the lifts were working. Views over Zeller See are spectacular!

Great authentic Austrian building with space to spare. Don't expect modern but this adds to the charm of the place. Property was well equipped with everything that we needed. Easy parking and access to the building. All conveniences close by or a short drive away. Stunning views from the balcony and all round great place to stay.

We choose Alp Haus because of its location at the start of the Grossglockner Road. The property has plenty of secure parking and like us the owners have classic Volkswagens so we felt that they understood our needs perfectly. The house itself is a tradiional building with flowers on the balconies and a large garden. The flat was very spacious and the views of mountains all around are stunning. There are so many things to do and see within an hours drive and all of the scenery along the way is breathtaking. One of the highlights was driving the car to Bad Fusch which was reccomeneded by the owners. We just didnt have enough time to do everything so we will be coming back next year for a longer stay! We wouls also like to thank Nikki and Danny for being such attentive hosts and making such good suggestions.

We were on a driving holiday visiting the high alpine passes...

We were on a driving holiday visiting the high alpine passes. The Grossglockner road tool booth is five minutes away and opens at 5:30am; we left the hotel at 5:25am and were there as it opened. The hotel was welcoming, clean and as advertised. We ate at the hotel, having been up to the Edelweißspitze (the toll is reduced after 6pm, so we arrived and went up before dinner). Some rooms overlook the main road, so you might want to request a room on the other side of the hotel if the noise of the occasional vehicle bothers you.
