Spotless rooms, exceptional breakfast. Dog friendly

Our room was a recently renewed one, extremely clean, on the top floor, with a fantastic view on the Grossglockner mountains group. We unfortunately didn't try the multiple facilities of the hotel, the breakfast was fresh and with multiple options though. The hotel is close to the main road, but nonetheless quiet during the night.

Good breakfast, clean toilets.

The clean, very well located apartment, on the ground floor, so very easy access to it. Too value for its price. The view from the balcony is great - you get the look on the mountains, slope and a ski lift! The apartment has bath, not shower - I expected it would have not only signs of use but at least some signs of mold, as I experienced everywhere before, BUT for my surprise - there were no mold signs and very minor signs of use, very well maintained bath! The toilet seat should be a little bit adjusted, but it doesn't influence on comfort. The apartment has warm floor and in addition 2m long heating battery alomg the window - we used it only between "snowflake" and "1" mode, having less than -10 degrees outside. The apartment has renowated furniture, much more then enough cookware, the only missing thing in the kitchen - kitchen hood. The host is very friendly, responsive, responds quickly and efficiently to all comments. After our ask to checkin earlier - he let us do that before 11AM! He really tries to make the stay in his apartment comfortable and pleasant. In 5 minutes walk there is school ski lift, plenty ski-schools' locations, in 15 minutes - there is another ski lift, as well as supermarkets and city center, bars, restaurants are in 10-12 minutes walk.

Sonja was out Perfect getaway destination for 4 nights in early June with two adults and two kids, 5 and 12. Breakfast is just fantastic, better than anything I‘ve ever seen (and I‘ve been places!). Free big parking just outside the main door, with adjacent off-road park for radio-controlled cars - we had a lot of fun driving those with kids! Location!! Very cool Lokalbahn (local railway) stop just 50 meters apart - we started our first morning with an awesome trip aboard the Nostalgie steam-train on Thursday. Then, Maisi Flitzer is just 3 mins by car away - pretty cool summer alpine rollercoaster, safe enough for kids to ride together on one bob without the parents. Then, Tauern-spa - a large aqua-park with indoor and outdoor facilities and an infinity pool on the roof with the view on mountains. Then, a 1 mile long Motorik Fun line of climbing and playing equipment for kids and adults - a lot of fun (but take enough water and snacks with you). And of course, hiking trails along the valley of Kaprun - it’s definitely worth it, starting with the gorge trail above the roaring waterfalls. And gondolas to the glacier, with lots of paths to have an awesome hike downwards with kids, looking for gophers (we found 4). For evening night out I can recommend the restaurant in the adjacent village of Fürth (10 mins walk max, and it was open till 23:00 daily). Kitchen in the room allowed us to have a nice snack anytime. The room is big, very well sound-proofed, with very comfy bed in the bedroom and a large sofa in the living room for kids. We didn’t felt tight at all with our family of four. The pool at the top floor - small, but fun for a short swim with kids, with a stunning view to mountains and valley, and a sun terrace outside. They have a couple of saunas as well.

We had an amazing stay at the hotel. The location was perfect, the food was great, and the SPA was excellent. The service was outstanding.

We loved the breakfast and the wellness center. Both were exceptional in our opinion. There are great restaurant options around, you can have great dining experiences, don't forget to book though, as it could get pretty busy. Kitzsteinhorn resort was great for skiing, we had good amount of snow (considering we visited in March) and well prepared slopes, pretty good variety of red and black options. Something to keep in mind if you're planning to ski during March or later, Schmittenhohe part of the resort has much lower altitude and the ski conditions in this area might not be so good during these days. We visited Schmittenhohe area one morning and decided to return to Glacier area in the middle of the day due to the poor conditions of the slopes. (slush & ice & basically not enough snow)

Nice hotel with friendly personnel. Spa area is great and the location is nice with a doable walk to the ski lift (where they have lockers for your gear). The breakfast is good with a lot of options to choose from.

Breakfast was amazing. Huge variaty of bread, fruits, meats etc. Hotel was clean and spacius. The SPA area was incredbie. Generally - a must stay in Kaprun!
