Amazing boutique-like hotel in Lastarria. Spacious rooms, super friendly staff. In front of the hotel, there are street sellers, and the street is a vibrant place with very good restaurants and wine bars. Lots of people all day and night, but that does not mean you will not have good sleep: the room is silent and the bed is super comfortable.

Everything was perfect. The room was clean & big. Location is good, in a nice & safe area. 15 mins walking to South American’s tallest building and its mall. The service was exceptional. Everyone was helpful, cared about your experience, and tried their best to assist you. Nothing to complain about. Will def stay here again, if coming back to Santiago.

I arrived in Santiago from several days in the dormitory at Portillo where I got sick. I also injured my back and was in tremendous pain. On top of all that, my bus reservation kept getting canceled because the road to Mendoza was closed due to snow. Everything should have been a disaster. But it was not. The apartment was very comfortable and a very cozy place to rest while I waited for the road to open. I never met German, but he was a great host and very responsive and flexible. But his housekeeper Marie and her husband the building doorman David really saved me. They helped me get my huge snowboarding bag and my other bags to the bus station and waited there with me until the bus arrived. David negotiated the transport of my additional bags with the driver and got them in the luggage compartment. I was no longer sick, but I was in a lot of pain and don't think I could have done it on my own. I was very lucky to have booked this place. I highly recommend Kaori Express Sushi a block away. They delivered most of my meals while I was sick and were also a big help. The neighborhood around Terminal Sur is no Bella Vista. But I never felt unsafe there despite being in a vulnerable situation. I was a little sad to leave the apartment. Great internet!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Plaza San Francisco in Santiago. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable — exactly what we needed after weeks of travelling. The hotel facilities were a real highlight. The pool, gym, and spa were fantastic and such a treat after being on the road for so long. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge. Breakfast each morning was amazing, with a huge variety of options. I may have indulged in a morning mimosa (included with breakfast!), which felt like a lovely holiday bonus. Both the bar and restaurant were excellent — ideal whether you’re after a quick drink and bite or a more substantial dinner. Most of all, the staff truly made our stay special. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The fact that the staff all spoke English was especially comforting after weeks of stumbling through Spanish. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santiago.

This was such a beautiful place. The restaurant was delicious and everyone was so friendly. I especially loved horse back riding with Valentina! I highly recommend going for a trail ride! And there are many other outdoor activities they offer! Their spa was also magical. Definitely recommend this place. The location is great as it is just up the street from Casa Chocolate and short drive from Cajon del Maipo!

We've booked the hotel for 1 night, but once weve entered the room, weve completely fell in love with it and rushed to the reception to book another one. The room itself was spacious and with a lovely balcony. The breakfast restaurant was great. The wine tasting was also lovely! All the staff weve met along the way was absolutely amazing. We will definitely recommend it to others.

Santiago exceeded my expectations.

Santiago exceeded my expectations. It is a modern city with plenty to see and do, both within the city and in the surrounding areas. Some of my favorite places were Farellones, the incredible views from San Cristóbal Hill, and the lively atmosphere around Pionono Street. We tried several restaurants during our stay, but our favorite was Los Buenos Muchachos in Patio Bellavista, where we enjoyed great food and generous portions. We mostly used ride-sharing apps to get around, which were easy to use and readily available. For young couples, I would highly recommend skiing in the Andes, visiting local wineries, and taking day trips to Valparaíso and Viña del Mar. While we did have a few negative experiences during the trip, those were related to specific people or businesses, not the city itself, which we found enjoyable, vibrant, and full of interesting places to explore.

This large city is moderately safe so long as you do not stray from well populated shopping areas and more affluent neighborhoods. Both restaurant and street food is good, and all of the twenty or so Uber drivers used were friendly, skilled and knowledgeable.

Santiago is an amazing city for tourists like my family - we love nature and we love History! The museums are so great. You can't miss the Museum of Memory and Human Rights, it's just incredible and I left it just eager to learn even more about Chilean history. The food at Mercado Central and MUT are great, the people is so welcoming, the well-cared street dogs are such a nice staple of the city and I also would make sure to go to Giratorio... the food and view are just perfect. Spotting the mountains as you walk/ride around the town is the best part of Santiago.
