I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were truly amazing, friendly, professional, and always willing to help. A special thank you to Dina at the reception, as well as the other two gentlemen on the reception team, who were all incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. I also want to recognize the gentleman working at the café and the two ladies there, who provided excellent service with a smile every time. Honestly, the entire team made me feel welcome and well looked after. The service was excellent, and the lobby’s interior design is absolutely beautiful. It has a stylish, elegant atmosphere that creates a great first impression. I really loved it and would definitely recommend this hotel.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Being in the centre usually means noise, but this was a quiet sanctuary. Special mention to the pillows—they were like sleeping on a cloud. Make sure you get the breakfast; it is absolutely worth it with a great selection for everyone.

- brand new hotel, everything was brand new and smelled fresh - good room layout and was very comfortable - pool area was exceptional - decent gym where you can get your essential workouts in - location was great. A very short walk to an Aldi grocery store and location is in between Puerto Banus and Puente Romano. Very easy to get to around if you are renting a car - plenty of free parking right outside the hotel. This is where we parked every day - staff were very friendly and supportive to any request - buffet was good and enjoyable

Much More Than Just Sun

With warm waters and sun-drenched beaches, the Costa del Sol certainly lives up to its name. From north of Gibraltar to Almuñecar, this part of Andalusia is a top destination for holidaymakers of all budgets.

Puerto Banús attracts the world’s super-rich, and many moor million-pound yachts in its harbour. Glamorous Marbella also has designer shops, an orange tree-lined square, and easy access to Costa del Sol golf courses.

Quieter Estepona has a low-key harbour and several good Costa del Sol hotels for kids, while Fuengirola’s long, sandy beach is overlooked by a Moorish castle and Roman ruins. On its outskirts is Mijas waterpark, named after the hill town offering fantastic views of the Costa’s rugged mountains and pristine beaches.

Another waterpark - Aqualand - is in Torremolinos, a vibrant resort with many Costa del Sol hotels by the beach. Long and sandy, it stretches all the way to lively Benalmádena, from where dolphin watching trips depart. Also here is Tivoli World theme park, and a cable car just opposite goes up Monte Calamorro.

With its impressive Alcazaba castle overlooking Roman ruins, Málaga, the region’s capital, was the birthplace of Picasso, and a museum and his former home can be visited. Nerja to the east boasts a 19th-century aqueduct and the Balcony of Europe promenade above its beach.

I highly recommend this hotel resort for a peaceful getaway. There were a mixture of couples, families, friend groups at the hotel. It was not rowdy. We enjoyed the different bars the hotel had to offer, plenty of areas to hang out. The beds were extremely comfortable and the air conditioning was very good and there was a ceiling fan too which was good as air conditioning stopped when the balcony door was open. The room was spacious and so was the bathroom. The sea view from the room was beautiful and an amazing way to wake up. The breakfast dining area overlooked the beach and sea which was also lovely. We enjoyed the adult pool area and the rooftop sun lounge and Jacuzzi area. The hotel location was in a really quiet peaceful area away from the hustle and bustle but was close enough to the Marina and the Pueblo of Benalmadena. There were some nice local cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is really clean and beautifully decorated. It is right on the beachfront. There are bus stops right at the hotel and a train station about 15 mins walk that goes to goes between Malaga and Fuingerola. This is really great if you want to visit the city or the Plaza Mayor outdoor mall they are great day trips. The BioPark in Fuingerola is lovely too. Taxis are cheap to the Marina and Pueblo areas around 10-14 euros.

We really enjoyed my visit to Malaga. The old town is charming, the beaches are clean, and there are plenty of restaurants and cultural attractions. It can get quite busy, but overall it's a fantastic place to visit.

This is a nice beach location which can be used as a base...

This is a nice beach location which can be used as a base for other activities on the Costa Del Sol, Andalusia... or even Gibraltar and Morocco. It is close enough to a major city centre (Malaga) without feeling you are in a city. While 3 nights would be enough if all you care about is the beach, you would need up to 5 nights if exploring.

The Old Town had an authentic feel, with some gems of tapas restaurants and lovely little cobbles streets. The promenade was amazing in the morning for a seafront run or long walk. It was also packed with restaurants, bars, boutiques - just lovely. The Saturday Nueva Puerto Banus Mercadillo (market) is worth visiting as it has some lovely artisan items with a typical Mediterranean/North African vibe. Not so keen on Puerto Banus area itself as it had a much more manicured, luxurious, Insta-ready, touristy feel, but I am sure some people would like it!

We were staying opposite Bil Bil castle and so it was a bit of a walk to the marina area and not a huge amount going on enroute - nice bar/restaurants. The marina was nice enough but for a 11-12 night stay you wouldn’t want to be visiting the same area every night. We got a taxi into Benalmadena centre and were surprised at how little there was going on there too. Our holiday is very much made from relaxing during the day in the sun then mooching around local shops and having a meal and few drinks in the evening. Personal opinion would be that I wouldn’t visit again as the whole place needs a facelift. The hotels , bars and restaurants (other than 1 5star hotel that looked nice on the way to the marina) all look very dated. We ended up eating in 2 restaurants over the course of our stay as we struggled for anywhere that looked particularly nice/clean - and i am not a fussy eater but do expect a good level of cleanliness!

As the weather was quite cold, we spent our time exploring the area by use of their excellent public transport: Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Malaga, Mijas Costa and Pueblo, and Marbella, all easily accessible. We have since been back twice, and are planning a further trip in September. We have stayed in mainly around the los boliches area, twice on the beach front, and then further inland near to the train station. Each time we have discovered something new. We have only briefly visited the actual centre, but not of an evening. There are so many wonderful restaurants and bars. We found the Spanish bars were really cheap, and they were super friendly, so welcoming. The beaches were spotless, the water clear and quite calm. The sunbeds and parasols are of really good quality. You will find the prices vary from 6 to 9 € for a bed and parasol. There are plenty of toilets and showers.

Nejah is a wonderful small town The streets are very narrow and walkable., there are plenty of shops to keep anyone busy, As well as as great tapa bars.The town is also very clean and the people are very friendly.

Great old town areas and large selection of shops and good eating places. Some interesting history too. Large town but no too tacky or overun with large hotels. Definitley a nicer resort on the Costa del Sol

Torre del Mar is an amazing place.

Torre del Mar is an amazing place. I felt very safe there even at night. There is a great variety of shops and restaurants available in the town. Friendly people and very delicious food. 1 hour from Malaga. Tours to the closest attractions are available from Torre Del Mar.

Have visited La Cala De Mijas before , this time with friends . It has a nice couple & family vibe . Lots of nice places to eat and drink. Good place to visit other places from , we went to Estepona . Also did a nice walk along the beach front to Cabopino , nice marina with a few restaurants and bars

A beautiful, welcoming place, with beautiful welcoming people. Loved every second of every day. The town centre is amazing with everything one could possibly need. The restaurants are wonderful and everyone is friendly kind and welcoming.
