The Hive exceeded our expectations in all regards. We travel frequently and this was among one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Aga was exceedingly helpful, from checking us into our room to serving us at the restaurant. We have never stayed at a place that was so giving with its ammenities. The room had a bountiful mini-bar and the breakfast was superb. The room itself was immaculately clean and well-appointed. It was obvious it was designed with travelers in mind. We especially appreciated the convenient outlets and light switches located on each side of the best. The bathroom was clean, towels luxurious, and bed comfortable. Free parking is available at a public lot a block away from the townhouses. I can’t recommend this property highly enough!!

Overall Heywood is a lovely spa hotel. We had a lovely stay, a great sleep in a nice king bed, and the breakfast was lovely. A nice selection of options on the menu is available, with some juices and a fresh coffee available. The room was spacious (albeit we were given a free upgrade - always boxes well) with a lovely layout that felt new and well designed. The team aided us in sourcing flowers as part of a baby moon, a lovely touch. The hotel is within a brief walk to the Tenby center - and we made it even with a pregnant wife. We found the hotel is also well priced albeit we have visited outside of peak season. The hotel felt intimate but has comfortable spaces, the spa was of a more than suitable standard for a 4-star.

Omg don’t get me started, let’s start with the view from the hotel There’s also a cliff track path that lead directly to the beach There’s even some sits available for you if you want the video directly. It was so beautiful. Now let’s talk about the room, the interior design is superb, modern and eyes for details. Ohh yes I observed everything It’s so aesthetically pleasing. I took lots of pictures and videos ohh it was beautiful Now the food, we only had breakfast in the hotel and it was delicious. The pillows were so soft and I sleep so easily. I need that pillow in my life lol😄 I think I have covered everything 😂

Every member of staff was so welcoming, friendly and polite. The place was warm, which was perfect on such a cold day. It was spotlessly clean throughout. Our apartment was absolutely perfect. The walk into the village was no more than 10 mins and the view from the hotel and spa was magical. The breakfast staff were so accommodating when I complained about the odd taste to the milk in my porridge. Nothing was too much trouble. We will be returning soon.

The actual town had been decorated for the upcoming festival, with knitted adornments on trees, roadside furniture and even knitted sheep on the bus stop shelter. The river passing through with lots of seating for weary travellers was nice and something I took full advantage of. However as we were there during the driest months on a couple of centuries the pavements were decidedly mucky especially near pubs and other food outlets and could have done with a pressure wash. Would I return, yes I probably would.

A lovely, traditional seaside village with just the right balance of places to eat and drink — from cosy cafés to welcoming pubs and relaxed restaurants — without ever feeling overdone. Several beaches link together along the coast, including dog‑friendly stretches, and the whole area has a genuinely warm attitude toward dogs. There are even a few dedicated dog shops, and most cafés and pubs were happy to have four‑legged visitors. It has everything you’d hope for in a classic seaside spot, yet never feels crowded or overwhelming. Just an easy, enjoyable place to spend time. Enjoyed the Duck race too, great for kids and a charity fundraiser too !

I love Narberth and have done since 2005 when my mum and her partner bought a caravan on Brookside. They had to give it up in 2018 and then after my mum passed I bought a caravan on Brookside as it is my haven. The village has everything you could wish for and close to Tenby and Saundersfoot which are beautiful places to visit or stay.
