The Staff were so friendly the host was great so warm and welcoming and the room was comfortable . Lovely big soft towels , the fruit shoots in the room were a great touch for the children ( I have never seen this before and think it's a wonderful idea as children don't want a tea or coffee) The food was delicious also we ate in the evening and morning . The location is great and we loved the beach. The pool table was a great hit with our son also .

Probably the best accomodation I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. I only need the basics when working away from home but this exceeded my expectations. From my arrival to when I left everybody was seriously friendly and helpful, very comfortable room, excellent WiFi, impressive evening meals and rounded off by a superb breakfast. I might be able to revisit very soon, looking forward to it.

I did not stop off at any of the places in Elgin during my stay due to the extreme heat, however there were plenty of amenities nearby and other parts of Elgin - I.e. train and bus stations were within walking distance also and were clearly signposted with their destinations. The locals seemed friendly also when unsure.

Has a beautiful lovely sandy beach, with sand dunes to shelter from windy days. Lovely cafes and ice cream shops by the beach front. Plenty of places for a takeaway or to enjoy dining out. If the sun is out you wont be dissappointed. We also go to the landmark park every year which is just over an hour's drive away, we also visited Spynie Castle, had a bike ride to Spynie Loch, a trip to Brodie Castle and bike ride to the West beach. Lots more to do in the surrounding area, but the sun shone on our time there so we spent lots of time at the beach, which was just what we had hoped for.

Forres is a lovely little town with plenty of shops, cafes and bars. There is a brilliant park area with woodland walks. It is really close to lots of stunning beaches and coastal towns. It is a great base for a holiday because it so close to everywhere. Including Inverness and Loch Ness. We stayed for three days and will need to return because there is plenty more to explore!

Hotel conveniently backs onto the Speyside Way in a lovely, peaceful village that is very central for whisky lovers. Right to Roam rents ebike locally. Staff were so welcoming and guest focused - very knowledgeable! Food and whisky was most enjoyable! Loved the patio out behind the bar!! My only request was to upgrade to bigger TVs in the rooms or bar/restaurant for viewing the events like the World Cup!!

We really liked Aberlour as a homebase for our stay in Speyside. We were there mostly for distilleries and relaxing. We used a local taxi service to get around (Craigellachie cars) and would highly recommend. They picked us up from our hotel in Aberlour and went to Macallan one day and Glenfiddich the next. The drivers love to share information about the area, which was nice. Aberlour is great to get on the Speyside river trail and there are a few stores on the main street (bottle shop and a cute market for food and souvenirs).

a lovely little town in a good location to explore the area further, with good facilities for holiday makers and a great view. We walked along the coast to Sunnyside beach we visited the heritage centre and from that visit we were encouraged to visit the grounds of Cullen house and the old kirk we ate in the Royal Oak and Cullen Bay and chips from the chippy Need to book for a Sunday evening meal Portsoy nearby is well worth a visit and has the best icecream shop

Stumbled upon this lovely village and now, it is added onto our list of places we will likely come back to visit in the Scottish Highlands! We made it our base for snowsports. There is a nearby restaurant called Dalchini - serving very good food and had very friendly staff. We want to come back to catch the Aurora!

Rothes is centrally located for visits to any number of whiskey distilleries, or if you arrange to do some fishing on the Spey River. It is not a destination unto itself, as there is almost nothing in Rothes to see or do, but it's a lovely little village in the heart of Speyside. A warning that there are almost no food options in Rothes. The Station Hotel has a wonderful restaurant and bar, but that is your only option, so expect to drive to a neighboring village if you want any variety.
