Thought all of the facilities at hotel were excellent. Staff friendly and accommodating. The Doolittle Cafe was very nice both for a quick cup of soup during the day and a lovely meal in the evening.

Very nice hotel. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. Had a nice plate of fish and chips in the bar and the Guinness was good. Very well situated if you are exploring the Wild Atlantic Way. Decent off street car park, grand for parking a motorcycle. Bantry is a very nice town to visit. I will of course stay here again someday.

My first stay in Eccles and would definitely return. Did not get to spend much time in the hotel itself but when we were there we were very happy. Staff were very friendly, Bar food was gorgeous and great value. Only a short walk to the town. If a view is important to you ensure to pay the extra and book a Sea View room. Would return and recommend.

We had a party of 18 with 5 dogs. Natalie and Niamh were very helpful in accommodating our requests (we wanted 3 adding houses near the water) and offered early checkin and late checkout due to the fact that there we're no guests arriving the day we left. Circle k garage was 5 mins drive and had all the supplies needed. Definitely coming back.

The hosts, Philip and Sophie, are wonderful, very attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. Room was very clean, well equipped with a microwave and mini fridge. The breakfast was amazing, including some delicious home made cakes. I truly enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it.

Garnish island an amazing place well worth a vist and don't miss a tour of the house, the tour guide brings it to life its fascinating could have listened to her all day The ferry left from a beautiful little cove in the centre of Glengarriff and we watch the seals sunbathing on the rocks on our way to the island, the children and adults loved it.

Castletownbere is a hidden gem on the Beara Peninsula, surrounded by breathtaking mountains and the sea. We loved exploring the area and watching the sunset by the coast—it was the perfect place to take some truly stunning photos. Ballydonegan Beach is well worth a visit, and the scenery throughout the area is simply spectacular. Being on the Ring of Beara route makes it an excellent base for exploring one of Ireland's most beautiful landscapes. Highly recommended for anyone who loves nature, coastal views, and peaceful surroundings.

Peaceful little place with kayak rental from the jetty to go and look for seals on the rocks. There's a lovely little gallery/cafe on the main road with excellent cakes, and wine! The hike up Hungry Hill is worth the effort

Silence, natural beauty, if you want to really get away and enjoy simplicity and nature, this is the place for you. Have to travel a few kilometres for restaurants and bars but this is a good thing, because it means you will rarely meet many cars or people.

An old smart-looking hotel with a comfortable bar.

An old smart-looking hotel with a comfortable bar. That comfort, however, did not extend to the bedroom where the (old) mattress offered no support, bedside lights barely adequate for reading, and TV not working. The problem with the TV was apparently "lightning strike", but the TV in the bar was working?

My family are from here and we always enjoy returning in the summer. Recommend seeing Dunboy Castle and getting the seafood chowder from Murphy's Restaurant. Good to support the local fisherman and local businesses. MacCarthy's Bar in the square is famous and we enjoy spending time with the owner, Adrienne and her pug! Other towns such as Allihies are also great to visit but a car is needed.

Our 3 night stay at Mossies was the highlight of our holiday in Ireland. Felt like home away from home. Every detail was carefully crafted by Matti and Vanessa to ensure we had a good stay. Sitting outside around a fire pit on a clear calm evening was a wonderful treat. We wish we lived closer!

Good location, short drive into both Bantry & Glengariff.

Good location, short drive into both Bantry & Glengariff. Beautiful ocean views and saw many rainbows from the property. Excellent breakfast. Mo's hospitality was over the top in every way. Advised us of places to see off the beaten path. Gave us great dining recommendations in both Glengariff & Bantry. We had already been in Ireland for a couple weeks so we a wanted a bit more of a relaxed itinerary so we explored Garnish island, Beara Peninsula, & Gougane Barra monastery. We thoroughly enjoyed our time visiting with Mo. Hope to return again some day real soon.
