Delicious supper night before in the bar at surprisingly low price for Ireland. Followed by delicious breakfast the next morning in beautiful stone (old church) section of hotel with a Celtic exhibition on top floor. The staff are delightfully friendly. And finally, despite a wedding on the night we stayed, there wasn't a sound to be heard in my room. I chose the hotel based on reviews and they didn't lie. Will be returning at end of summer with two sisters when one visits from Canada.

This hotel has city walls!! , so you have the chance and I highly recommended, to walk the top of the walls and enjoy the view!! It is Centered, walkable, pretty, comfortable rooms and bed, friendly staff, the bar tender Nico!, was super friendly and gave us recommendations and also Shannon from the reception and the restaurant staff super nice (breakfast!). Complete breakfast, very good!! Our room was very nice, comfy, big bed, spacious bathroom, and the hotel has it’s own PARKING!!!!!! Of course not many spaces but if you get there enough time before check in your probability to get a space is high. If not, there is another parking close to the hotel! Check in was easy. Very close to shops, mall, rest, plaza, and pubs!!! Its a very nice town to walk and enjoy!!

The cottage was exactly what we needed to conclude our 1 month visit to Ireland. Both Connor amd Sean were very attentive and responsive to our needs. They made sure everything was comfortable for us with genuine care. The cottage itself was AMAZING! A true Irish gem. In the Family for over 200 years and updated for the traveler to enjoy. We spent 4 nights there and cooked most meals as town was not far for goods needed. Best accommodation of our entire trip by far!

Mary and Owen were wonderful hosts! They made my daughters and I feel so welcome and at home during our stay. We were also fortunate to meet one of their daughters, who happened to stop by, and have a lovely chat. Mary and Owen gave us great recommendations of what to see in the area and also on our way to our next stay, in addition to a great place to eat the night we arrived. We wish we could have stayed longer. Everything about our stay made us sad to leave.

I’ve family from Buncrana so I’m biased but it’s a great place in itself, let alone as a base for all the wonderful scenery and things to do nearby. We ticked off some of the Wild Atlantic Way signs including Malin Head (most northern point), and took the kids to walk the Alpaca’s, which was great fun. Just be mindful that places to eat don’t tend to take orders after 9pm, by 9:30 kitchens were already closed.

For us, it was the relaxing atmosphere, but also you can make this experience as energetic as you wish. Everything is too haandfrom the beach, spa, bars and restaurants carryout the lot. I would find it hard not to like this place. It is what it’s says on the tin AND MORE.

Typical Irish town, friendly but nothing to do and very run down. Very dated shops, found a nice coffee shop but that is about it. Nice walk along the water edge. Ate at our hotel so can't comment on restaurants.

It was a great location and our host David was very helpful and we found plenty to do within a 20 to 30 mins drive. The house itself was clean and comfortable and perfect for a group of 9. We would stay here again with no hesitation. It was a beautiful area to visit.

I love Culdaff.

I love Culdaff. I'm rather biased as my mother was born there & all her family. Aside from that, Culdaff has beautiful beaches for children just building sandcastles or paddling in the sea, surfing & swimming, & then pop in the beach sauna. Bunagee Peir, for fishing or boat trips. Near McGrory's Hotel there is a small graveyard where pirates are buried. There are places to eat & drink, from local food, burger van, pizza shop & a new Black Heart Bakery. Culdaff Arms, McGuiness' Bar & supermarket & Good Fortune Chinese takeaway. There is a better bus service to get around to Malin Head, Carn, Derry, Moville & places in between. There are plenty of places to stay, B&bs, self catering cottages, glamping & log cabins. Short or long stays Culdaff is a good place to visit.

As soon as you come off the ferry the apartment is just seconds round the corner and you can walk right into the habour with noone asking any questions. There's also a museum which we spent quite a time in it. The bar was great they did great Guinness so my husband said.

Stunning scenery.

Stunning scenery. Lovely little harbour and beach where you can swim in the crystal clear water. Enjoyed the quietness of the area and the friendliness of the locals. There are two pubs which also serve food and a shop. We ate both times in the Seaview Tavern. Both meals were very good as well as the service. We didn't have time to try Farren's Bar.

A fantastic selection of pubs in Clonmany, although we had two kids with us, so didn't get to try the pubs.. Nearby Ballyliffin (just about walkable, although I didn't try it) is good for restaurants. Nice beaches nearby, but I wasn't sure how safe they were for swimming. Absolutely wonderful waterfall walk within a short drive away. I stayed two nights which was fine for us, but I could have stayed longer. We also visited Doagh Famine Village, the Wild Alpaca Way, Malin Head, the Swan Park, and the Wild Ireland zoo. I can recommend all of them.

Burnfoot seems to be a pass-through point into Inishowen Peninsula, Two main roads come together there but the numbers and names are confusing. It is hard to find exact locations. Even the one restaurant we found did not have WiFi and this made GPS travel difficult. Not much else to say.

Nice town, friendly people, some great traditional town centre pubs, although some of which don't sell food, Swan park and the river walk are beautiful and interesting, even in the rain, nice coastal footpath heading north out of town, with small and quiet sandy coves.
