Beautiful, new and stylish. The rooms were very clean and modern and comfortable. Really lovely restaurant for breakfast and a trendy quiet hotel bar. The onsen was also very nice. Great location if you want to stay in Aomori and visit other places in the area.

Easy location near Yamagata Station, nice clean rooms and facilities, great amenities, 7-11 right downstairs, staff was great and friendly Everything about this hotel is made to be easy for the traveler. This facility is a bit of a walk from Sendai station, but it was fairly easy to find. We were there for two nights. The hotel staff and the breakfast were very good. The weather was very cold and rainy, so the walk was a bit hard. However, we would choose this hotel again because the rooms are better than some other Dormy Inns we have stayed at. The beds are very comfortable and the onsen (especially the open air onsen) is nice. Our second day there we rented a car. The hotel parking is very good! It is just out the back door and under cover, which was good for us in the cold, rainy weather.

The location sits near many restaurants and bars. A parking lot is next door; just don't forget to bring your parking ticket for the voucher. There's a breakfast buffet that has a little for everyone. We stayed in a four twin bed room, enough space for the family.

A great base for many sights and attractions and museums both within Aomori and further afield. Handy for the airport and has links to the Shinkansen and a well connected train and bus station. Plenty of food options, great for seafood lovers. There were a few places we didn't manage due to poor or no transport - Towada and Takayama Inari Shrine.

Morioka is a very charming city—peaceful and not crowded, while still offering a truly local Japanese atmosphere. The food is delicious, especially the seafood, which is high quality and reasonably priced. There aren’t too many tourists, making it a great place to relax. It’s also an excellent starting point for traveling خارج the city or going on a road trip, as the surrounding areas are filled with beautiful natural attractions. It’s especially suitable for people who enjoy skiing. I visited in early March, and there was still quite a lot of snow. I’d love to go back again when there’s even more snow.

I like the relaxed pace of Akita.

I like the relaxed pace of Akita. Learn about local history at the Akita City Folk Arts Center and Senshu Park; visit the art museums and explore Akita Arts Theatre Mille Has. I think it's also a great place to rent a car and drive out to the Oga Peninsula, or to one of the many onsen ryokan, or to Lake Tazawa. The scenery is beautiful, people are friendly and the food is hearty and comforting. Take the Shinkansen to Kakunodate and see the restored samurai residences in the cherry blossoms or the fall colors, and you can even try wearing kimono or take a rickshaw ride with a local guide. Don't forget to stop for Michinoku Pudding before getting back on the Shinkansen.

Hon-Hachinohe has far more to offer than we could fit into our three-day visit—we truly wished we had stayed longer. The Korekawa Jomon Archaeological Museum was exceptional, offering a fascinating look at the area's ancient past. The Tanesashi Coast was another highlight, with its beautiful and easy-to-navigate hiking trails. In the center of town, we explored the Hachinohe Portal Museum, known as ‘Hacchi’—a six-floor space that blends cultural center, artist studios, and local exhibits. The staff there were especially welcoming and helpful. We didn’t have time to visit the Art Museum or the History Museum, Maybe next time

A very quiet town, some attractions to see, and there are also shops that can do shopping. There are not many tourists staying in this city at the time we visited in first week of March, maybe peak season is a different view. We liked this town with it's traditional building from the old times, not a city view like Sendai, we have dinner at a local tonkatsu (Japanese cutlet made from pork), we were served at the 2nd floor, that I really feel like I'm eating in the comic book scene. though sitting on the floor is not easy for me and my husband, we have to extend the legs sometimes. It's recommended to have a slow walk around the city, try the local cuisines, the dishes change as per seasons, we tried quite a few different fermented fishes that we don't know, but they are all good with sweet flavour, not on the salty side. Mostly importantly is the Japanese sweets, mochi and cakes are all delicious.

When going to the province of Fukushima, Fukushima-city is a good central place to stay at. Where not seen as a very touristic area, it does offer a less (foreign focused) touristic experience. Being able to speak basic Japanese will help you a lot to get by and get the most out of your time here going to lots of interesting sights, cafes, restaurants, etc.
