"After visiting Marrakech and Rabat, Casablanca was the final destination of our trip. We stayed here for 5 days (including 1 day trip to El Jadida and 1 day of pure relaxation), so we had 3 days for sight seeing. 3 days of sight seeing was just the right amount for us. Places we can recommend to visit: 1.Day: Old Medina Marina Mall Hasan II Mosque Promenade stroll to El Hank Lighthouse 2.Day: Villa of Arts Arab League Parc (Sacred Heart Cathedral) Palais de Justice Parc Murdoc Habous Old Town (Olive market + butchers market) Central market 3.Day: Casa Voyageur Anfa Park and Place des financiér Aeria Mall Plage Aïn Diab Places that were a little bit disappointing: Mohammes V Square United nation square Bd Mohammed V Church of Notre Dame of Lourdes"

"It was my first visit to El Jadida a d I will certainly visit again. The town is very interesting with lots of beautiful architecture and phantastic beaches. Most important for me was that is NOT overcrowded by tourists. The people were very helpful, kind and friendly. I felt safe here at anytime if the day. I highly recommend a visit to get to know the real authentic Morocco."

"I come often to Casablanca in transit from North America to other locations in west Africa. I chose the Atlas Hotel due to its proximity to the airport and because I have stayed there previously. The hotel manager went out of his way to accommodate my late check in (flights from North America arrive early AM) and check out (4 pm) -the hotel is of exceptional quality, the room was extra clean with a large and comfortable bed, all the amenities needed and nice relaxing shower after a long flight. I would highly recommend the Atlas Sky for other travelers spending a day or so in transit through Casablanca. Plus it is a 30 minute taxi ride to the center of the city where you can check out Rick's Cafe during your layover."

"If you want lots of places to visit, nightlife, shopping, etc. do not go to Oualidia! However, IF you want peace, tranquility, and a place to go to really wind down from the busyness of Marrakech or other major cities, this is the place for you! The ocean is beautiful, but not recommended for swimmers, so the natural lagoon in there for you. The water in the lagoon is cold, but refreshing...and MUCH safer. We ate most dinners at our hotel, and enjoyed the food, but ventured out one evening to have dinner at Ostrea, which was good as well. Main goal on this trip for us was just to R-E-L-A-X! Goal accomplished! :)"

Clean organized hotel, super friendly and supportive staff (security, helpers, reception, cleaners, room service), excellent wifi, well decorated corridors and rooms. Big thanks to Ms. Manal for her wonderful reception during check-in, Mr. Fahad and Hamza for their outstanding support whenever needed and all security staff outside and inside the hotel.

I only stayed overnight at a Casablanca airport hotel on my way back to Canada from Agadir, in southern Morocco. However, I have stayed in Casablanca on two other occasions. It's a very big city and I don't think that there's much to see, other than the huge King Hassan II Mosque. It has a spectacular setting, right on the ocean front. I saw the mosque for the first time after it was newly completed in the 1990s. I revisited the site again in 2025. Another place in Casablanca that is fun to visit and to have a good meal is Rick's Cafe. Of course it's not the real Rick's from the movie "Casablanca", but fun nonetheless. It even has a piano, but no Sam to play it. You can buy souvenir t-shirts, etc. to take home.

El Jadida was a convenient stop for us as we wanted to be reasonably close to the airport in Casablanca. The old town had a lot of history but not many shops or museums. The cisterns had been closed for construction for many months and they didn't seem to be opening soon. Without those it felt like attractions were a bit sparse. We had a pleasant visit for 2 nights.

The View Bouznika is an absolute gem on Morocco's Atlantic coast. The rooms are spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully designed with breathtaking panoramic ocean views. The world-class wellness center — featuring thalassotherapy, heated seawater pools, hammam, and state-of-the-art spa treatments — is truly transformative. Breakfast was a daily highlight with a generous and diverse spread of fresh, high-quality options. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained, the pools are pristine, and the overall atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between luxury and tranquility.

Mohammedia is a calm vibrant city that has everything for their residents and visitors. It is geographically placed between Casablanca and Rabat and the location is brilliant for people to commute and tour Morroco. In my opinion the best city in Morocco for many many reasons.

We went early to the waterfalls and it was really quiet which was great. The coffee shops, restaurants and shops weren't open. We weren't there for that so that was fine. There was lots of free parking. Falls were great and the trail interesting. Shame there is so much discarded plastic everywhere.

Beni Mellal is cute enough.

Beni Mellal is cute enough. The town seems chill and gives the right kind of Moroccan vibes. Since we went during Ramadan, eating wasn't much of a highlight: in the daylight hours we were forced to accept McDonald's drive-thru before heading out on a day trip, but that night we had pizza at Davinci Restaurant, which was surprisingly quite good (particularly if you're familiar with pizza in Morocco) and overall well managed. The region is even more spectacular: drive over the mountain range to Bin El Ouidane (1 hour) and continue to Ouzoud Falls (1 hour more) via Azilal (about midway in between). Gorgeous terrain!

Casablanca is what you expect wealth and extreme poverty...

Casablanca is what you expect wealth and extreme poverty side by side, mosque was worth a visit and trams work well but crossing any road is a near death experience but worst of all is the smoking, If you are a smoker your ok , every bar and hotel , indoors or out , restaurants, people smoke , I don’t know if they have smoking bans in Morocco but if they do it’s like everything else in this place no one obeys any rules. The beaches that I have seen are sandy if you could call it that but don’t think sun lounger more plastic chair so you need to find what they call private beach which means sunbeds swimming pool and access to the Atlantic Ocean, always rough. Usual charge is about 100 drms

Really enjoyed El Jadida, fabulous , incredibly reasonable, fish restaurants everywhere and the fort is tremendous. Sadly the big draw, the Cisterna was closed for renovation but I believe will re-open in May. Looks fabulous and is a real wonder of a place immortalised in one of the Bond films.
