Friendly staff, comfortable room, was very accommodating of us having a toddler and already had a bed set up for him before we got there, along with a great breakfast that’s included with the stay!

Friendly & helpful staff. We could check in on arrival, because the room was ready. That was a 10/10 moment thinking of the guest and not some clock rule. The breakfast buffet was the best we have encountered in our trip. I loved the ambient lighting / design and mood of the breakfast area, it was quiet and peaceful. I am now looking forward to our other bookings with Comfort Hotels

This hostel is actually a student residence, which rooms are rented out to tourists in the summer. I had a large double room with plenty of space, which was nice. The bathroom was also larger than expected, but the shower was quite tight for some reason. Free parking was a nice perk. The hostel is in a quiet area. I noticed that it's wheelchair-friendly: ramp outside, elevator, and staircase lift for an intermediate floor. Downtown Mandal isn't very big so it's easy to walk anywhere, and they have maps (and good advice) at the front desk.

The hotel was located right by the water, and we had a nice view firm our window. The breakfast buffet was amazing with many great choices. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful location in Mandal. Staff were pleasant and helpful with great customer service. A very comfortable room with fabulous views over the waterfront. Quiet and peaceful. Great breakfast and good Pizza restaurant attached to hotel -Syd's. Would definitely recommend a stay here. Only 40 mins drive from Kristiansand. A great place from which to explore the local area.

Everything you need in one place. After multiple stops across Norway arriving from Oslo this was a welcome rest. Nice view from our room. The decor was a bit dated but super clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Try the Fish Soup at the Restaurant and breakfast buffet gave a good start to the day.

The environment is beautiful: great situation, thoughtful architecture: every detail feels well thought-out. Rooms are classy in a modern rural style. Restaurant food and service was top notch. All the staff were incredibly helpful when I was dealing with an injury.
