New ZealandMet by Tash on arrival who is very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for an early morning flight from Hamilton Airport. Very rural, quiet and attractive surroundings and the room had everything we needed. The breakfast was very substantial with 4 different cereals, toast and croissants and jams etc, 4 different types of tea and instant and brewed coffee. The shower was large and very good, and bathroom stocked with lots of extra touches. The room was elevated with a lovely rural view and warm and very tidy and tasteful. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Would stay again, and I see that you loan bicycles, which could be a good thing to do next time.

We had a truly great stay! The service was outstanding—the front desk lady was exceptionally welcoming and went above and beyond, proactively providing helpful travel instructions not just for Cambridge, but for our overall trip through New Zealand. Our room was spacious and featured a convenient kitchen. We also appreciated the clean pool, quiet surroundings, and the good location (just a 2–3 minute drive from downtown and all amenities). Easy parking, check-in, and check-out made the entire process seamless.

Looked newly built. Very neat and clean. Well equipped kitchen and spacious bathroom. We stayed in one of their king cabins with private bath where the bed could be switched to two twins. There was a slight glitch at the start where the staff did not know that we had requested two twins and said that there was a fee to switch the beds, but it was resolved quickly and graciously.

Amazing cozy room, with nice vintage wood furniture and modern bathroom. We absolutely loved staying there, and the little detached breakfast cabin was the icing on the cake. We arrived too late and left too early to meet our hosts but they arranged the key and communicated well about the procedures.
This was a really awesome place to spend a night and relax.

Everything. We have stayed here several times and never been disappointed. The rooms are ground level, spacious, clean with oversized bed, quality linens and very well appointed. Parking is steps from unit door. Garden furniture is available. Of all the motels we have experienced in NZ Cambridge Mews is our favourite!

We didn't have breakfast there. Very noisy with lots of trucks for most of the night. I do prefer running water in the kitchen and not have to fill the kettle in the bathroom basin.

Cambridge is a very pretty town - especially in Autumn when...
Cambridge is a very pretty town - especially in Autumn when the trees are covered with golden leaves. There is a great farmers market on Saturday mornings. The Town Hall has a fantastic programme of concerts and arts events. There is a nice range of restaurants and bars. The high street has lots of interesting shops. They are very into cycling (check out the velodrome) and horses. I stayed for three nights over a weekend, which was good, to have a look around. If you have longer, in a nice place to stay, you could really unwind.

I spent half a day at Sanctuary Mountain.
I spent half a day at Sanctuary Mountain. I could easily have spent more time there. It is certainly worth paying for one of their experiences. The staff were very friendly and open in regard to sharing information about the Māori culture long with the sanctuary.

We enjoyed our stay at Kauri Lodge. Clean and tidy with every amenity we needed and nice and quiet. Easily sleep a big family. Shona was a great host, and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others

Our stay was great, we wish we had stayed a few more nights so that we could explore around the Pirongia area and go on a couple of walking tracks. The house was amazing outside and inside, we highly recommend others to stay. It's a place we would definitely return to.

It was a nice rural setting, however it was a bit too far from shops and cafes. The property was unclean and facilities were poor. The hosts were pleasant and helpful. We stayed for one night and that was enough.

A great place to base yourself to explore the Waikato.
A great place to base yourself to explore the Waikato. Close to Mt Pirongia, Sanctuary Mountain, Lake Karapiro, Lake Arapuni, Waitomo Caves. And not too far away are Hobbiton, Blue Spring, Hamilton Gardens (which are mind blowing). Rose Gardens and Walk of Fame are just by the Information Centre, along with a fantastic children playground, one of the best I've seen anywhere. Great little op shops too if you enjoy a browse.

A great stopover point if travelling long distances in the north island. We usually stay in Hamilton, but Karapiro has beautiful scenery, peace and serenity and just a short drive from Cambridge for restaurants, shops and petrol.

What a beautiful place to stay...totally recommend this ... the room was just beautiful...like a luxury hotel.
The bed was amazing...best nights sleep in a hotel ever! Lovely homemade shortbread to go with our coffee.
Plenty of parking. We drove to the Propeller Restaurant and Bar at the Hamilton Airport for a meal....not far and was well worth it...beautiful meal and service.
Breakfast was awesome and hosts just lovely.
Would definitely come back one day.

The Saturday market could be so much better, it could be...
The Saturday market could be so much better, it could be famous !! - its needs to grow. It has a great location. Bring in local colthing outlets and mark down prices to attract the Aucklanders looking for a bargain and an easy weekend away option. Theme the whole thing in the French weekend market style and it will fly. The local resturants are on point too.
