Beautiful, large studio with a patio and lovely gardens! Decorated with lots of details. Very pretty and new. Has everything you need: refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Easy to get to! The hosts even provided coffee and creamer which is great! It has a huge, comfortable king size bed so my young adult daughter and I didn’t mind sharing it although best for couples.

It’s exceptional. Far exceeded my expectations. It’s not clear in the description that you have full use of the rest of the Hilton resort which is just brilliant.

A beautiful, well-maintained property. Great location. The Ocean Club is a short stroll from all units and provides a beautiful view of the ocean and a relaxed setting for eating or having beverages. The overall feeling is calm and relaxing.

Waikoloa isn't cheap but it's a vacation and it is going to cost you a little extra. The location is great, only 25min from the airport. There are some good restauarants all within 5~10min away. A couple really nice beaches within 5~10min away. Reservations through Booking.com is the best way to go, you get a higher rated location for less than resort prices. We've stayed at both Hotels and Condos in the area at least 6 or 7 times, a Condo through Booking.com is the best way to go, especially if you have a family.

The beach was amazing.

The beach was amazing. Especially in the morning before it gets crowded. But because it is quite lengthy even when it gets crowded you have plenty of space for quiet relaxed time. Quality of water excellent. Has some nice snorkel in the rocky sides. Probably the sunsets are stunning- unfortunately cloudy weather during my stay.

Hawaii has become ridiculous in pricing, not just for accommodation but groceries as well. The grocery store has what you need and is convenient. If you can ignore and not compare to what you pay in Canada you’ll be fine. The village is good and if you are a golfer you’ll enjoy it. We are not but it was fun to watch. You definitely need a car on this island as everything is miles and mile as apart….a ton of driving.

Waikoloa is a wealthy and posh resort area built on lava flows, with multiple gated condo communities and hotels, and also includes a couple of very pleasant shopping centers. We did most of our grocery shopping in Waikoloa Village (away from the resorts), but did also take advantage of the gourmet store within the resort. We only relaxed and slept in Waikoloa; we spent all our days traveling to see the incredibly diverse natural sights of Hawaii. A great exception: there are extensive and excellent petroglyphs just a short walk out the King’s Highway Trail from the King’s Shopping Center.

The unit was well stocked with everything a vacationer might need. Kitchen lighting was inadequate, the under the cabinet strip lights never turned on, maintenance had no clue how to operate them, he brought us stick up lights on day 4 , I'm sure he would have come out sooner but we were busy driving all over the island every day. We cook and needed surface lighting, all there was was a ceiling fan light & dim light over the stove. The unit listed air conditioning, there is no central air, only a portable unit attached to the wall by a duct in the bedroom. Thank goodness for the trade winds, with front door and balcony door open the breeze was good. The downstairs owner had construction for 3 days, power tools going during daylight till about 4pm. I have pictures, I own condos & know this is unavoidable, just some info that should be considered when setting a rental rate. We were able to text Vacasa maintenance regarding the lighting, he did the best he could The unit was well stocked with everything a vacationer might need. Beach & sporting equipment. Kitchen lighting was inadequate, the under the cabinet strip lights never turned on, maintenance had no clue how to operate them, he brought us stick up lights on day 4. We cook and needed surface lighting, all there was was a ceiling fan light & dim light over the stove. The community was very quiet, we golfed, used the pool etc. All in all a safe time was had by both of us. We had a rented car & drove all over the island everyday. We are chefs, did our own cooking, neighborhood grocery store was good. Did not eat at Johnnies golf diner. Will not rent at Villages again, probably go closer to the beach, pretty decent decor and well stocked but that does not make up for heat or noise.

People were friendly and helpful.

People were friendly and helpful. The complex was well managed and maintained. We had trouble finding the building on the first day in the dark operating on no sleep with the sign building numbers hard to see. I missed the first turn into the complex and my mental map got disoriented coming in the back entrance. But we were all smiles when we finally walked into the unit.

The location is wonderful.

The location is wonderful. There is a great place to walk/run/bike just a short walk from the Villas. We enjoyed the view of the golf course, the wild turkeys and chickens who visited, the foliage, and so much more. Upon arrival to the condo, we were so impressed with the cleanliness of not just the interior, but the grounds are immaculate. Very well kept and maintained. Loved all the Hibiscus growing! The condo was so comfortable and it was great to have a nice roomy kitchen to cook meals. We didn’t want to leave. We always enjoy the Lava Lava Beach Club and watching the sunset and enjoying great food and beverages. We also love going to Hilo, and we had an amazing meal at the Volcano House/Rim Restaurant. Kilauea is a breathtaking site and it’s a must see when visiting the Big Island. We also enjoyed Hāpuna and Spencer Beach Parks, Lapakahi National State Park, and the beautiful town of Hawi. We also saw the original statue of King Kamehameha! Everyone we interacted with, no matter where we went, was pure Aloha. The kindness we experienced was mind blowing.
