We love staying here for the location alone. The beds are always comfortable and I love that they have multiple jacuzzis in semi private covered patio areas. Staff and service has always been friendly and accommodating every time we come here. Ski almost right up to the front doors.

The apartment was wonderfully furnished, the kitchen and bathroom perfectly equipped, everything was absolutely clean - and the interaction with staff was delightful. I only stopped in the Juniper Springs on the way from A to B, but it was the perfect place for a break.

It really needed to be updated. the carpets were shabby and did not look clean, There was a continental breakfast offered but it does not start until 8 AM. We had to leave before breakfast started so we never got any and we were there for 4 nights. That was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. There are much nicer hotels in Mammoth Lakes without breakfast for a cheaper rate.

Lee Vining is a cool small town with a vintage vibe. It has a couple of great casual restaurants, shops with local Yosemite / Eastern Sierra themed merchandise, fishing/hiking gear and a gas station. It is the ultimate gateway stay for a trip into Yosemite National Park.

Mammoth Lakes is an all season destination offering many activities including hiking, fishing, biking, and exploring during the spring, summer and fall. Mammoth is a great base for exploring Rock Creek canyon, Convict Lake, Reds Meadow, Devils Post Pile, Mono Lake, June Lake and more. The winter offers some of the best skiing anywhere.

Town is tiny and benefits from location near Yosemite entrance road. It’s all about location. Prices are too high for what you get. The convenience of the location was what we were paying for. Final price was higher than I was quoted due to an “ environmental fee.”

My husband had a great day of fly fishing. I relaxed on the deck with a good book. There are so many things to do in the June Lake area. We did some sight seeing. We usually come to relax, swim and fish. We ate at the Tiger Bar for dinner and as usual, it was delicious! We hope to be back soon!

We had an amazing time at Mammoth Lakes with family. The scenery is incredible. Riding the Gondola provides great sightseeing from the very top of the mountain. We loved the pleasant hiking trails down to Rainbow Falls and spent plenty of time exploring the beautiful Lakes Basin. It is also an absolute paradise if you love to mountain bike. Highly recommended

Great town to visit anytime, though getting here in winter is sometimes perilous, and most of the town shuts down. There are a plethora of activities to do Spring thru Fall...hiking, biking, kayaking, exploring via vehicle, with Yosemite close enough for day trips. In Spring and Summer, a birder's paradise...bring a spotting scope!. Options narrow in Winter, but still plenty of basin, birds, beaches, and craters to explore. Mono Lake Committee store/visitor's center provides a wealth of info, as does the official Mono Lake Visitor's center. The Mobile Station at the Hwy 120 turnoff to Yosemite has Whoa Nellie Deli - great food, MARGARITAS, and occasional live music in summer..

June Lake features some of the best fishing on the planet!

June Lake features some of the best fishing on the planet! From Lake fishing to creek and river fishing, there are a lot of choices. Additionally, the hiking is amazing, with entrances to the JMT and PCT with access to some amazing alpine lakes and sights. Don't expect Aspen Colorado! June is quaint and laid back - perfect for a "slow it down" break from life's crazy speed.
