We had a lovely apartment with ocean view, there was a chill lawn concert with Hawaiian folklore, a hula dance and free cocktails! It's also near Whalers Village, that has nice stores and restaurants.

There is a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere at this hotel. The hotel is right on a great beach with clear blue water. Really nice reception staff. We also enjoyed the pools and the pool bar, were we had some great drinks. On the last day the allowed us to use the facilities after checking out, witch is great.
We planned to stay 4 nights in Kihei, but we canceled the last night to return to this hotel in couple of days for our last night in Maui.
Since we are coming back, it’s obvious that we highly recommend it.

We are absolutely obsessed with this apartment! 😍 It was huge, super comfy, and spotless. The balcony view? Simply breathtaking! We loved it so much that we had dinner there every single night instead of going out, just enjoying the view and the vibe. The whole place felt like home—we were so relaxed and happy. The location was perfect, and the entire property was incredibly well-kept. Honestly, this stay was beyond amazing, and we can’t wait to come back!

The location is amazing! So close to the beach, other hotels and dining/shopping options. The room was spacious, clean and perfect for our five night stay! We appreciated the ceiling fan option in the room as we could open the balcony doors to enjoy the ocean view and still keep the room cool (AC automatically shuts off when doors are open).

The oceanfront upper floor rooms are incredible, and the beach at Napili Bay is just a short walk away. Super easy to park, great breakfast restaurant (Gazebo), and dinner restaurant onsite. Loved that the room had a mini kitchen.

The hotel and the staff was amazing. The lady at the front desk was able to check us in earlier and she also upgraded us. She was so nice and welcoming. We had an amazing view and the apartment was great. The pool is really nice!

This is a great area to stay to have easy access to the best of west Maui. Kahana has a neighborhood feel with easy access to beaches, restaurants, bars and coffee shops with a much more laid back vibe than the busy area of Kaanapali. I highly recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy all that Maui has to offer but who wants a quieter neighborhood feel.

Kapalua, the place itself, was beautiful. The resort was beautiful. The community center office’s staff needs more training. They were rude, not familiar with their work, seem to be not care about their customers. They care more about what are not their business and not their responsibility than helping their customers.

Everything handy- restaurants, groceries, coffee place. We liked the beaches nearby and we love Lahaina Front Street which is a short drive. Quiet at night and safe. A bit dark to walk around at night but that is Hawaii.

The condo complex is immaculately maintained especially the pool, hot tub, and bbq grills! The cite is walkable to Whaler's shopping center shops and restaurants! A car is needed to get to the grocery stores. Highly recommend Leland's on the Beach!

I do not recommend Lahaina for non Kanakas because many of us are still displaced and in the midst of rebuilding. I came home for a family celebration. I do think the surrounding areas could use outside support but Lahaina needs to be left alone right now.

Yes I would recommend staying here! It's home for my family! It was just my oldest daughter and me this time. There are 16 of us now! We had all of us for Christmas and New Year's 2018-2019. Rented 3 condos, including this one! Hope we can do it again some day!
We always stop at Costco on the way in as we prepare most of our meals at the condo. Great restaurants are close by and shopping at Whaler's Village is fun too!! Beaches are close and the beach chairs and coolers are handy and stocked in the condo!

Loved Kapalua and would stay there again.
Loved Kapalua and would stay there again. Quiet area at the Ridge and very relaxing and not touristy like Kaanapali and Lahaina. Great location to nice beaches north of Kapalua and plenty of snorkeling time. Highly recommend Slaughterhouse Beach and Napili Bay for turtles, snorkeling.
The historic Honolua Store in Kapalua is a must see for sundries, souvenirs and sandwiches. Oh and don't forget the Dole whip machine near the deli. Great coffee shop on H-30 called Hawaiian Village Coffee.

The town happens to be located on the serene side of Maui.
The town happens to be located on the serene side of Maui. Waves 2-4 foot. Beginner surfing. Extremely clear waters to snorkel. Shops and food abound, golf and luxury nearby. For the vacation goer who likes people.

The area is still nice.
The area is still nice. Wanting for water and getting over their disaster but the beaches are still pretty. Unfortunately transportation is a problem. Renting a care is ridiculous plus added parking costs. Uber/Lyft/Taxi unpredictable. Got stuck a few times after drivers commit then change their minds because they got a better deal. New America. Too bad they aren't planning a transit system better than the bus which won't allow luggage.
