Everyone was so lovely and kind. I think this is one of the most positive experiences we have had. The lovely gentlemen at the front desk were so helpful and gave great advice for excursions .. the rooms were great and clean. The housekeeping staff was so friendly and sweet. Martin was a great host. As I am 49 yrs old, I wasn’t sure about booking a hostel but I’m glad I did. Booked the double room and had privacy and quiet when I needed it. But it was great to interact with others from all over the world

The apartment was very comfortable with fantastic ocean views from the top deck. It had everything we needed and the location was perfect. We could walk out the door and go for hikes or we could walk 1-3 minutes to a long sandy beach with restaurants. Salema has a very nice relaxed vibe and we would definitely come back. Casa Da Paz worked well as a base for day trips to Sagres, Lagos, etc. Our hosts were very nice and made us feel very welcome.

The location of the apartment is really great. Just a few minutes walk away from the beautiful beach and lots of really good restaurants in close proximity. parking is free street parking. We always found a spot fairly close by. the apartment itself is spacious and clean. We stayed for over a week and there was just very little soap and dish soap. so I texted and we were brought something the next day. they were even so nice to give us more washing machine pods, as our baby had a spit up accident into our clean suitcase, so we needed to wash a few more things than we planned. we also got a high chair, a crib and an extra bed for our children.

A perfect choice for a family or friends’ getaway in the Algarve. The property is comfortable and cozy, and it actually looks even better in person than in the photos. The garden is beautiful and well maintained. It’s located next to a golf club, with a green, well-kept surrounding area. We opted to pay extra for pool heating, which was a great decision. The host, Nicola, was exceptionally responsive and answered all our questions quickly. Thank you!

We are so glad we stayed at the Docevida Apartment. There is easy access to restaurants and the wonderful beach. It was so quiet and relaxing while we were there. I loved the decor of the apartment - great colors and a chill, beachy vibe. Every restaurant we tried had excellent food - Boia, O Lourenço, and Casa Pizza. The Salema Beach Club Market has a pretty good selection of basic groceries. Salema is also a great home base for visiting other parts of the Algarve. If given the opportinity to return, we would definitely stay here again.
