We were staying for 5 days at the hotel and were also eating at the restaurant. Our modern and cozy room was very clean and had a phenomenal view over Perugia's old town and the landscape. The sunsets were breathtaking. The host Silvia was amazing during our whole stay, we had wonderful individual breakfast, with different homemade food every morning. At the restaurant there was a great selection of different courses and wonderful wines. If you are visting please keep in mind that the hotel is in the outskirts of Perugia and you need a car to get around. On the other hand you are far away from the hectic city and have a wonderfully quiet ambience. Should we visit Umbria again, we will definitely stay at Stella's again.

This was one of the nicest places we stayed at in Italy. Just a short distance outside the old town of Perugia, this hidden gem is tucked away in a beautifully restored historic castle. The garden, the pool, and the entire setting were simply wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable.
