United StatesThe Rusty Kangaroo blew us away. It is absolutely Awesome! The views are amazing the location is very secluded and quiet. The owners are amazing. We were greeted immediately on arrival by Sylvia and Ian. She had a map and had marked the best places and best kept secrets of places to see. We had 3 nights and wish we would have allowed more time. Sylvia booked us ahead for a very unique trip to see the seals on the far end of the island and planned our itinerary to be able to work our way back and have time to see the best places on the island. She even noted where to stop for lunch and wine and gin tasting. Back at the house we had kangaroos feeding very close to the house every evening and morning. This was a real treat for us. We had not seen kangaroo in the wild up to that time so it was very cool.
The house itself was beautifully appointed with every comfort needed. The home is beautifully decorated with antiques and very unique decor. Sylvia and Ian have thought of everything. We really loved every minute and the time went way too fast. The island people are so friendly and welcoming.

United StatesThe cutest glamping experience. Perfect location, beautiful view. We stayed in fancy tents and they even had running water and a/c! The walls zipped open and closed for privacy and airflow. Fabulous deck with chairs to sit out.

AustraliaA really great experience, highly recommended! Owners are lovely and very caring and kind, and great to talk to. The place is amazing and in a decent position to the rest of the island which helps for getting around. It has a gorgeous view overlooking the lagoon, beautiful wooden and natural theme inside the main lobby lounge area and very calming and peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are great and have what you need, and for the price this is an absolute bargain and excellent quality.

Words can not explain the tranquillity of this place. It's a perfect place to relax and enjoy the views, to go exploring nearby, the house had all you need. Very comfortable bedrooms and clean bathrooms.

"Studio" room was spacious & well laid out, with a great view from ground floor. TV was easily adjustable to face bed, lounge or table. Staff were helpful.

The staff were all amazing, especially Liam the chief. Totally spoilt silly with great food in the evening and a perfect breakfast to start the day. Our room was so lovely room, and all the thoughtful care made our stay wonderful. Just wish we could have stayed longer. The inclusion of selected drinks with the evening meal is a total winner.
