IcelandPractically everything. The apartment is very modern and yet warm old fashion decorations. In a way like staying in a place owned by the family. The host was warm and helpful although we didn't speak much german. The neighbourhood was a quiet residential area but only 15 minutrs yo walk to the center of town along green areas.

The rooms are build against the outside of the old city wall, a unique location. The coffeemachine was good, as was the view from our room. Toilet and shower are modern and pleasent to use.

The reception staff was both very competent and friendly. There was a bicycle storage room. The breakfast was very good. I also liked the fact that there was a restaurant.

Room was comfortable, clean an spacious. It has a very fancy Italian restaurant with a superb menu. Besides, the staff is so kind. I would definitively repeat next time will be in the area.

A beautiful remote location 10 minutes from Xanten. The apartment is beautifully decorated. We'd loved the flower garden and the friendliness of the hostess Dorothee. The kitchen is well equipped, and the seating area is comfortable. The location has several apartments, but they are in different areas of the building so no problem at all: lots of privacy. The location can be reached using gravel roads. The house was very clean, the shower was good, and the beds slept very well. The bedroom windows have fly screens installed.

Exceptionally clean, with very good fixtures and fittings. Spacious and homely. Very comfortable bed. WiFi excellent. Good location for the town and cycling out to the lakes. Finding a plentiful supply of tourist information leaflets was very useful. Having good roller blinds for blackout at night.
We really enjoyed being in the apartment, in spite of the downsides mentioned.
