Cheerful welcome by Manager who showed me to my room. Professional and courteous staff, large comfortable clean room, decorated on theme of local coastal village, Thorpeness. Loved the yachts on some of the furnishings. Delicious, well presented dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend.

The staff go above and beyond to help. Big shout out to Emily, nothing is too much trouble. Well stocked shop and not too expensive. Clean park with nice lakes and wildlife.

Great location for visiting Minsmere and other nature reserves. Quiet location set back from the road. Easy and safe off street parking. The fridge was really nice to have. Excellent takeaway breakfast provided so we could get an early start. The hosts are lovely people and helped us out in a pinch (lent us a pump for a leaking tire until we could get it fixed the next morning, which saved our day- thank you!)

Beautiful, quiet location in historic East Anglia.

Loved the warmth of the host, and the room itself was just what we needed for a quick night away. Ana found me some peanut butter when she heard me saying that I liked it, which was such a nice touch. The room was spotless and the sheets were comfy and clean.

Cozy, comfortable cottage in Sax. Helpful, responsive staff (off-site). Quick to respond when I had a question about the boiler.

Excellent location with easy access to Snape Maltings (5 minutes drive) and the coast. Beautifully converted barn - very comfortable, nice ambiance and peaceful location. Very good communication and directions from the owners, who were friendly and amenable.

Lovely big garden for our dog to run around in, large bedroom and bathroom and well equipped kitchen.

We love the space, it’s perfect for our family of 4. Big kitchen and lounge is great to relax at the end of the day. This is our 2nd time staying at the barn and hope it will be available again.

It was air b&b so no breakfast. The location to get to Snape and Aldeburgh was excellent, just a pity you could hear the road noise when sitting out

Beautiful property, spacious, clean and comfortable. Had everything there we needed. The lemon drizzle cake, baked by the owner, was delicious and much appreciated. There was also some milk and orange juice left in the fridge for us which was so thoughtful.

Lily Pad is perfect. The attention to detail given by the owners is exceptional, from the comfortable bedding and towels to the delicious biscuits. It was very cold but the wood burner made it so cosy and it was easy to use. Wonderful hot shower. I loved looking out in the evening and not being able to see any lights. It felt like the middle of nowhere but was close to Aldeburgh which has so much to offer. I was planning my next visit before I left. Loved it.
