Rooms in Aizuwakamatsu

Situated in country,out of the city noise, surrounded by the mountains. To enjoy hot spring, it was a perfect place to do so. Staff were all very kind and helpful

I love the hospitality and warm welcome of the staff. They accommodated us well, although we arrived late, and assisted us with all our concerns since it was our first time in Japan. We will stay there again if we can travel back to Aizuwakamatsu.

Everyone was very kind and helpful. The location near the train and bus stations was so convenient.

Breakfast was decent and exceptional. The room is tidy and super clean.

The breakfast and dinner buffets were out of this world!

The onsen experience and the food was great!

Clean and well prepared, especially they have the special servers who speak English very well so my husband and I were very pleased and enjoyed every moment at our stay.

A cute guesthouse, super happy with the facilities. We stayed in the tatami room, its a bit small for 3 people, but for a short stay it worked perfectly and the futon were comfortable The staff is nice and helpful and the little kitchen was great to have a coffee the morning or cook in the evening

I had a wonderful time staying here, the elder couple who operates this place were very kind and took great care of me. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The accommodation can be easily reached from the station by bus or walking. It is very convenient to get to many tourist attractions around the city by taking the Akabe and Haikarasan buses from the nearby bus stop. There are also convenient stores and plenty of restaurants nearby, as well as a coin laundry not too far away.

Our family room was wonderful! Everything was top-notch at Onyado Toho, not to mention the extraordinary service.

Excellent staff. The person at the reception is awesome! Place is super clean. The locallity is amazing. Comfortable and cozy place. The common areas and bathroom are exceptionally clean. Everyone has enough bathrooms even though shared bathroom place. Facilities they are provide are very good. I will definitely recommend everyone choose this place if you get a chance. Especially if family of 4 then get the family room. Very close to public transportation.

The owner is very kind. The hospitality was just amazing. The owner even dropped me to the station with his car when I checked out. Breakfast was amazing too. I loved the vintage vibe of the ryokan. It was very aesthetic. I’d go here again!!!

The hotel is well located, the staff is extremely friendly, and the overall stay was good.

It’s very quiet, so nice and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and responded quickly, everything is under a lock with a code which makes it very safe

The room was nicer than I expected. It has a small cute balcony.

-location is near the river, mountain in Higashiyama Onsen -there are 4 private baths to use for a fee (¥2000 for hotel guests) -food is superb esp the dinner (worth it!) -price is just right -a great place to experience Japanese Ryokan and kaiseki meal -staffs are warm and hospitable even doing extra mile to speak English
