Very nice stay! We had a very warm welcome. Everything was great, nice surprise for our honeymoon, decoration in the room was amazing. The dinner excellent, very fresh and tasty food. Nelson was very helpful, he arranged transportation for us. The staff really kind and polite.

From the time we checked in to when we checked out, the attention and courtesy we received from the staff was simply amazing. Their attention to detail and willingness to cater to our needs was refreshing to see. One example was the initiative taken by the chef to bake a "rice flour bread" when informed that one of our guests gluten intolerant. Special mention of Lalith, Sahas and Tharanga for their excellent customer service.

Every thing was perfect. Excellent hospitality by the owner. Very cooperative and helpful. The rooms are fabulous very comfortable with what ever you expect is available. The breakfast and dinner are very delicious with suitable value of money. Sure I highly recommend this hostel. The view on the river giving extra value and enjoyment. The rooms and the bathrooms are roomy and well kept. They are tastefully designed while allowing a lot of light. High ceiling in the bedroom (upstairs) creates a light, spacious feel. Bathroom was cleverly planned and kept clean. Access to a private beach allows a very peaceful stay. You can watch the ocean while dipping in the pool.

Was traveling with a senior family member who has mobility issues; I requested adjacent rooms with minimal stairs/ walking distance. While the hotel was fully booked during our stay, their exceptional staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs by upgrading our rooms according to our requirements. Grateful for their understanding and hospitality.

Great hotel with great staff, they really looked after us, especially the manager who organised trips for us when we asked him to. Location great 1 min from train station and a short walk to the beach. 5 minute walk to the main street and a short walk from nearby town. Great views from our room and lovely big balcony

I stayed in the 1 bedroom room. The budget room. It was a lot better then what I thought it would be. The owner was very friendly and helpful even though she didn’t speak too much English. I arrived in bentota from train at night and caught the bus to the address. Great values for money. Big fan to keep me cool and the mozzies off me.

This property is adjacent to Bentota river and gave a good view of the river from the dining area and the balcony of our room. The hosts were very kind and offered their suggestions on how we should be spending our time with 1.5 days that we had with us. What makes a property great is not just the location, the cleanliness, the price, etc. but also how the hosts/staff treat you. The hosts really embodied what we really saw of Sri Lankan tourism - they welcome you with all the warmth and love and take good care of you.

I had a wonderful stay here. My room was big and comfortable and my balcony was overlooking Jaya's awesome garden and the jungle. Jaya was a wonderful host who showed me the shortcut to the beach, took my luggage to the train station and was always there to help. Breakfast was big and delicious. It was also no problem to get hot water or a plate and cutlery. Drinking water was always available. The location is in walking distance to the beach, restaurants, the town centre.

The room and bathroom were spacious and cozy. With flower decor everywhere such a lovely touch. A lovely terrace with good furniture overlooking the garden and pool. So many plants and trees making the area very pretty especially at night when all lit up. A good breakfast eaten outside. The owners and staff were attentive and helpful.
