NetherlandsWe stayed in the penthouse, and it was very spacious and comfortable. We could use the coffee machine, but not the kitchen, which was a surprise. The location is perfect. Right on the lake, and close to the gondola for Madonna del Sasso and Piazza Grande. Walking distance to everything, right in the center of the city. Very beautiful. Good breakfast.

Location very close to the old town but also quiet, quite spacious room, nice window view, breakfast room with a terrace and amazing views, rich breakfast buffet (bread, cereals, musli, cheese, meat, scrambled and boiled eggs, jogurt, fruits, jam,...), tasty coffee! Friendly staff. Clean.

The great terrace and the wonderful views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Being high up above Locarno and Ascona is beautiful.
The appartment has everything you need. It is not the most modern, but has 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, plenty of space and all that is required.

Location at the waterfront is obviously busy, but provided an unexpected bonus - a perfect view of a 25 minute firework display from our balcony! The receptionist was very helpful. Our room & bathroom compact but adequate for an overnight stay. Kettle and tea/coffee making facilities much appreciated, as was complimentary water & fruit.
Plenty of restaurants in walking distance nearby for an evening meal. Breakfast provided a good choice.
Hotel has 3 parking spaces available with a public carpark adjacent.

This classic Italianate villa was really beautifully restored, very comfortable and with excellent amenities. The modern kitchen was very useful - apparently shared but we saw no one else! Great views from the room and huge wonderful balcony/terrace. Handy for the railway and buses. We loved it!

We stayed in the 2 - bedroom apartment for 2 nights. It's a lovely spacious, airy apartment, fitted with all amenities, including washing machine. 2 bathrooms, 1 with a bath and the second with a shower. Spacious lounge and dining, delightful kitchen, stocked with essentials. Large balcony with comfortable furniture to relax on and soak in the super view over Lugano, the lake and the mountains.

Beautiful light, modern two bedroom apartment with balcony and elevated location giving fabulous views from Switzerland across Lake Lugano to Italy.
Good base for hiking, biking and water sports.
Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
