Beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean. From the two large bedrooms, to the kitchen/living room area. Everything was spot on. Kitchen had all the facilities we needed as a small family. Bathroom a good size and clean and there was enough wardrobe space to put away all our things.
Beautiful views outside the balcony. Local amenities were accessible- shopping centre just opposite the river too.
Heather and Matthew gave detailed instructions from the get go and made it really easy for us to settle in quickly.

Lovely old building in the heart of lovely Usk. Spacious comfortable well-equipped bedroom. Dinner and breakfast very good. Not over-priced. Convenient free car park.

The hotel was in a great location and had a car park. It was spotlessly clean and our room was very spacious. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and the staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was the best I have ever had and was beautifully presented, the linen napkins were a lovely touch too. My husband and I would definitely stay here again.

The bathroom, although not ensuite, was newly refurbed to a very high standard. The bedroom was comfortable and quiet. There was a good view of Chepstow Castle from our room. Breakfast was very good.

The communication during the booking process was excellent, over and above what can be expected.
Situated in The Square, one of the best locations in Usk. We used the bar and ate in the restaurant, both of which are full of character with great ambience. We also enjoyed sitting in the lovely garden, ideal as we had sunny weather! The bedroom was spacious and the bed comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast items left in the fridge

The Gateway saved us when our previous hotel had closed down. The reception member was helpful and accommodating, even with our last minute booking! We were welcomed and given our room with no problems. We stayed in the Family Room which was very spacious and had the most comfortable beds. The shower was great too!

Stayed with my partner for a couples getaway, our room was lovely, so spacious, clean and bed was very comfortable. Really impressed with the swimming pool and other facilities. The staff were all super helpful, 10/10 will definitely be returning in the future.

The location was perfect for what I needed. Easy walk from the train station and close to the start of my race (Wild Horse 200) at the Boat Inn. The bedroom itself was spacious and comfortable. There was a bath. There was no breakfast provided but as I had a 5am start to my day, this was not expected. There are no staff so access instructions are sent to you via text message on the day of your arrival. It worked fine for me.

Very cute, well-equipped cottage that is comfortable and has everything you need. Spacious bedrooms and nice decor and a little garden that you share with the next door cottage. The host was also very helpful. Would stay here again for a long weekend.
